Very straight forward and perfect!

Replaced the original apple flash storage of the Macbook Pro 2015 with this one and could not be happier. Performance is super with blazing fast speed both for read and write operations. With the original apple flash storage, I was able to achieve speeds of 1250 MB/s (read) and 500 MB/s (write). With this 970 evo plus, the speeds obtained are 1450 MB/s (read) and 1000 MB/s (write). Monster improvement !!!

The best/fastest gaming/everyday use M.2 PCIe SSD out there apart from the much more expensive and pointless (for intended use) PRO version from Samsung.

Bit of a chore to install into my 2017 iMac but works well and fast. These drives get hot so I increased fan speed by 400 rpm to help with cooling. Macs Fan Control.

I was looking for a 2TB 2.5 SATA SSD but came across this instead. Bought it for $250 CAD. I think its a great value for how performant it is and I can use it as a boot drive and game storage drive. Skyrim loads up in no time!

I have installed these (some 1TB and some 2TB) in both of my DAW studio PCs and my shop office PC. Excellent performance and reliability. I put a lot of trust in these Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD units and they have never failed me.

Good value and a brand I can trust. Ive bought cheaper branded SSDs before and some fail in a few months. Sure you can return them or claim the warranty but your time and the loss of data is valuable too. I havent had an early Samsung failure yet so Ill keep buying these branded ones. Paired perfectly with my Intel NUC system.
