Bought the 980 PRO 2TB version to replace a 500GB m.2 SSD in my Lenovo Desktop running Windows 11.

Great drives as always from samsung. zero issues.

Its a great size for my laptop and I was able to move all my games and apps from the HDD to my C: drive after replacing the little 256gb the laptop came with. Its been fast and reliable so far.

This is installed on a gaming PCIe 3.0 build so It cannot take full advantage of PCIe 4.0 but you get futureproofing for a small fee.

I had originally gone with a WD Black 850X for my PS5 since it has such great reviews. Unfortunately, I either got a dud or my PS5 just wasnt compatible with it. I had tried everything suggested in threads as well to make it work, to no avail. Then, I got this lil diddy and boy oh boy, it makes the world of difference with no more headaches or unexpected shut offs! Im able to transfer and download any and all games I choose right to this SSD. Plus, once formatted from the start, it shows to have the whole 2tb of data available. This one worked wonders for me and Im glad the reviews were correct about the performance of the Samsung 980 Pro. Others may have similar problems depending on the company the SSD is from, but this one worked just right for me.

It is testing up to 3,300 MBytes per second, read and write. (Note: bytes not bits.) This is on a twelve year-old I7 gaming computer, kind of low to mid range these days. Total happiness.

Cumple con lo prometido, tenia un 980 normal y llegaba a 3000/2500 , ahora con el pro se duplica en pci 4.0. En general cumple con lo que se promete, inicio rápido tanto windows como juegos.

Have both versions of the PS5. And installed this SSD to expand the memory for games and such. Only wish I could of afforded the 2Gig or higher, but then I would be spending more then I did for the consoles. Easy as pie to install and then is configured and recognized by the console. Have had one for almost a year and still runs well and the other for 6 months no problems. Except for price.

First installed in my PC to apply the newest firmware (since Ive read it improves performance when used in PS5) and found it already came with the newest revision.
