> 3 dayat first when i installed my m.2 my motherboard was having issues booting and detecting my other boot drives but a few youtube vids later and moving around my seta cables i finally got it to work. i dont really notice too much of a speed difference but the extra 2tb of space for a small drive like that is a good add on

> 3 dayThe PS5 has a less than adequate storage capacity for the modern gaming age. Considering that the average game size is between 50-100gb, and there are some even more massive (call of duty >200gb’s) expanding the storage was absolutely necessary.

Greater than one weekEasy to install on my PS5 that goes hand-in-hand with Sony and Samsung! Fits perfectly and runs smooth like butter! Absolutely no issues with transferring files after the formatting. I even noticed that even though it’s a 1tb ssd once it was formatted it listed it as 1.1tb. Don’t know if I was lucky or that’s standard. If that’s standard that’s awesome cause it gives you a little extra breathing room! Also not sure if I should’ve stepped it up to the 2tb but either way I am sure both options are solid!

> 3 dayThis is installed on a gaming PCIe 3.0 build so It cannot take full advantage of PCIe 4.0 but you get futureproofing for a small fee.

> 3 dayI bought this M.2 SSD to replace a regular SSD in a computer I built 5 years ago. Apparently I saved every screw except the M.2 one, if one was even included with the case/motherboard in the first place. I assumed this SSD would come with a screw but I was wrong. To install the M.2 SSD, I had to wait and order a $5 bag of screws just to get one tiny M.2 screw which probably costs less than a cent. Nowhere on the product listing did it advise that it doesnt come with a screw. Samsung should include a screw in the box to prevent people from shooting themselves in the foot. If it came with the screw, I would have given it 5 stars. The M.2 SSD seems to be working properly so far but the installation experience wasnt great.

> 3 dayBought this for a new gaming PC. It was super easy to install. The throughput is great as the machine boots up super fast. Although the machine has only been running for about 2 to 3 weeks. Regardless, Im sure that it will continue to perform flawlessly until it reaches its limits of total reads & writes. Which is something thats unique to each individual based on how they use their PC.

> 3 dayI wanted to get the newest Samsung evo 990 pro, but my board does T support pci 5. So I got the 980 pro instead. I have a few 980 pros in my gigabyte z590 aorus ultra and can’t complain. Boot up speeds are awesome, gaming performance is also amazing. Can’t complain and I got this 2tb drive on sale I paid 289 with taxes for my 1tb almost a year and a half ago. This one was 195 with taxes. Very happy!

> 3 dayThis SSD Drive is a great product. As we see the mechanical hard drives becoming old technology (yet still relevant) .This gem of an SSD Drive brings to the table a reliable means of data storage at a reasonable cost. Reliable and a lot of storage space are definitely a fair assessment of this product. I use mine in a mid size tower as the boot drive, without worrying about crashes or other issues. I highly recommend this product
