Greater than one weekThis is the 2nd Samsung 980 PRO that I have purchased. The first time around I got one with no heatsink since there is already one heat sink included on the motherboard. Properly installing the heat sink was kind of a pain so for the 2nd one (on a different PC) I decided to get the included heat sink.. Installation took about 3 minutes rather than 10 min without and I still have the included heat sink on motherboard if i find a killer deal on one later.. I am unable to get the full 7000mbs but I am getting close at 6500.

> 3 dayI love this SSD! It works so well for my PS5. It has noticably increased my systems performance in all areas. I used to see minor pauses with some games but thats no longer an issue since Ive installed the SSD. When playing games it feels so much more fluent and 100% more stable in every aspect. This is the only product Ive ever written a review for and thats because this SSD is so great. I have no issues once so ever. It shipped and arrived overnight. Upon opening the package I was impressed by the amount of detail put into the SSD. It looks sleek and very attractive. Knowing that it would go inside my PS5 didnt bother me because I knew it would perform better than it looked and that it does. It has a amazing 2 TB of storage so theres no need to worry about space. At least for me. Highly recommend it for high end consoles and PC. This product scores a well deserved 5 stars.

> 3 dayMy wife and I have been using two units of Samsung Galaxy Book Flex since 2020. Initially, they came with Intel SSD 660p, possibly due to cost-down measure. The problem, however, was that the SSDs became slower than the moment we purchased. Especially my wifes Galaxy was problemetic; it took 45 minutes to scan her SSD (approx. 32 GBs loaded in a 512-GB SSD) with her antivirus app this year, which was almost twice as long as the case last year. Thus, I decided to replace Intel SSD with Samsung SSD 980 Pro.

> 3 dayEverything youd come to expect from Samsung and more! Easily connects to a Playstation 5 with detailed instructions, its basically just plug and play, and transferring has never been faster!

> 3 dayHave both versions of the PS5. And installed this SSD to expand the memory for games and such. Only wish I could of afforded the 2Gig or higher, but then I would be spending more then I did for the consoles. Easy as pie to install and then is configured and recognized by the console. Have had one for almost a year and still runs well and the other for 6 months no problems. Except for price.

> 3 dayI gave 4 stars only because I ordered w/heatsink and it doesn’t fit under my laptop access cover. Consider when buying because if I had known the heatsink was going be an issue being too bulky/tall I would’ve ordered without. I’m concerned over time the plastic cover will warp or melt pressed against the heatsink. Other than that it’s lightning fast and scored high on Tom’s Hardware. It puts out some heat but I bought a laptop cooler to mitigate any overheating issues. You can never go wrong with Samsung quality products and I highly recommend as an alternative to the more expensive 990 Pro.
