> 3 dayIve always had good results with Samsung SSDs, so when it came time to build a new AM5 system, they were the obvious choice. I did my homework first though. My system is fairly high end with a 7900X processor, a ROG Crosshair Hero motherboard, 64GB of G.Skill ram. Wanted to go with the 990 Pro series NVMe, but building a custom water cooled loop and all the other hardware had already cost a lot, so decided to go with the 980 pro instead, as the new Gen5 stuff is said to be coming out real soon now.

22-11-2024First things to do after installing is to download Samsung Magician and be sure to update the firmware to the most up-to-date version! People have experienced issues with these SSDs but a firmware update will prevent them. Youll likely receive this SSD with the updated firmware already, but it is quick and easy to check so do yourself a favor. After all of that is done, enjoy the quick speeds of these beasts!

> 3 dayThe 2TB version of this SSD proved to be an excellent addition to my PS5 setup. Not only was it easy to set up, but it also provided much-needed storage space for my growing game library. Managing games has become a breeze, and I highly recommend this SSD to anyone looking to expand their consoles storage capacity.

> 3 dayLuckily mine came with the latest firmware, so I didnt have to update it. I slapped it in my PS5, checked the speed, and got on with gaming. Even if you do have to update, the process isnt that hard. There are plenty of YouTube videos that will tell you what to do. But it seems like they are all shipping with the latest firmware now, so thats good. Buy one, or five!

> 3 dayI started doing video editing and needed more storage on my Lenovo Yoga 6 so I bought this 2TB drive. 256GB just wasnt cutting it now. I also bought the SSK Aluminum M.2 NVME SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter.
