Samsung Electronics SM-T830NZALXAR Galaxy Tab S4 with S Pen, 10.5, Gray

Love my galaxy tablet. I own an iPad as well, but Im just not an Apple person. I understand how Galaxy works. Ps Im 66 years old.

I got this tablet to use for taking, storing, and organizing notes for my college courses. As a serious note taking device, it severely falls behind. Its really good for light note taking and minor drawing, but theres a lot that it lacks in that realm. For starters, the tablet is a little longer and skinnier than Id prefer. Its kind of awkward when writing in portrait, and slightly less awkward in landscape, but still weird. The S-Pen feels really nice but also has some drawbacks. The pens accuracy is greatest in Samsung Notes, which personally, has a long way to go. Squid is the second best app for writing, but other than that, there are no other writing apps that work well with the tablet. The latency in other apps are bad enough to not even bother using the S-Pen. The button on the the S-Pen is ill placed and I accidently press it more than Id like. I honestly shouldve returned it but I was past the return date. If you want a tablet to watch movies on and occasionally jot down a few things, this is it. Ill admit the screen is incredible, but as far as what I wanted it for, I honestly regret buying..

A minor annoyance when using in bright light due to glare. Otherwise this tablet is just plain fantastic.

I do actual homework home in a normal desktop computer, but this tablet is incredibly awesome for school work while in the school. The handwriting features are smooth, the keyboard makes it so you can type faster. The screen is incredibly sharp and pretty. Its a light tablet but we a lot of horsepower. Samsung Dex is good for when you cannot access websites because youre on mobile, so in dex form it makes it act like its windows.

I actually got mine from Tmobile a couple years ago as part of a promotion with my galaxy s9 phone upgrade. Ive owned a few tablets over the years, and this is by far the best. The screen quality is fantastic, the battery life, even after almost two years, is superior, even after watching several movies and streaming show after show. Sound quality is also great, not something that I would expect from a a tablet at all. The speed hasnt slowed, and I play all kinds of games on it as well that work flawlessly. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
