Samsung Electronics SM-T830NZALXAR Galaxy Tab S4 with S Pen, 10.5, Gray

I was going to buy the Tab S5e until I read about research done by Consumer Reports, Sammobile and others showing a significant flaw with the wifi antennae. The decision then became whether to buy the S4 or something cheaper.

This is easy to set up & use. Like the keyboard addition. No problems. Satisfied.

It is crystal clear and really fast but some things are annoying about it like the app only open in portrait mode

This is a really great tablet with all the features I need. I love Samsung DeX and the ability to use it like a laptop! Great purchase!

Why I got it:

Update 11-22-2019: Stay away from all things tablet from Samsung. I had the S3 and it bricked after 1.5 years. Bought the S4 and thought wow this is so much better. I could not have been more wrong! It hasnt even been a year and Im having issues with it. First, it would not charge because it said there was moisture in the charging port. But there was no moisture. The unit was indoors and never got wet. The moisture alert would not stop. I figured out a way around it (reboot the unit with it plugged in and it worked but what a pain to have to do that every time it needs a charge). Samsung then did a software update, actually 2 software updates only 3 days apart, and it seemed to fix the moisture issue. However now it wont charge at all because it states the unit is too hot. What?!! Samsungs software is shoddy and constant updates ruin the machine. Ive been an Android guy forever but definitely do not buy this tablet. Buy an Apple or Amazon tablet. Just do not waste your money and time on the S4.

This might be a good product for someone who is immune to bundled software, but I returned the product due to frustration with that. And then there was the Help button that when pressed produced a message in about 100 different languages that basically said that the Help button doesnt work. I bought a Lenovo tablet instead; sorry, this is not for me...

Upgraded from a Galaxy Tab S that I have had for three years, I am happy with the improved speed and features. Battery life is great, performance is wonderful and I enjoy using the S-Pen. The display looks great and I enjoy watching movies in the wide screen format. The keyboard and the Dex desktop are very nice to use with productivity type apps. I have been able to run several open windows at a time, navigating through the different apps while using Dex is a breeze.

Powerful tablet and has helped my productivity a lot. Sometimes theres trouble connecting to the internet but Ive found turning airplane mode on and off has fully solved that

I upgraded from Tab S2 to S4. Samsungs Tab S4 is a great tablet for productivity. I use it mainly for note taking, organization tools, reading PDF books and some Netflix. It is a little heavy but that is not a big deal.
