> 3 dayAt the time of this review, I wasnt able to find many specs on the panel itself. But based on how it looks, its got to be a VA panel. But its a pretty good quality VA panel. The image is very uniform, with vibrant colors, solid contrast, and even acceptable viewing angles. Which is usually a negative for VA panels. But over the years, Ive found little need for an IPS panel, with their inherent backlight bleed, and poor contrast. By comparison, this panel has no backlight bleed and a great contrast ratio. The black levels look great, making it perfect for dark scenes in games, or even movies. Im using it as a secondary display, so the narrow bezels (left/right/top) are super handy. The larger bottom bezel is pretty common and matches my 48 ultrawide its sitting next to. There are the usual basic on-screen controls for picture adjustment, but there are on the more basic side. I didnt find a need to make any changes, at least not for my use. Im not doing any photo or video editing. It looks perfectly fine out of the box. It could use some more inputs, however. Id like to see full USB-C support. But instead, you just have the typical HDMI, DisplayPort, etc. Thats fine for my use case, but once again, USB-C would do wonders. The last negative is the stand. I dont like it. Its as wide as the monitor and takes up way too much desk space. Fortunately, I already had plans to put this on a monitor swivel mount so I could use it as a secondary display, and push it out of the way when I dont need it. Overall, for my tasks, which is mostly gaming, office work, and lots of video watching, this monitor is perfect. Easy recommendation for me.

> 3 daySo all these people talking about motion blurr. Not too sure if they know you have to format whatever your playing on to the setting of the scree. I have 0 motion blurr when playing my fpp and tpp games. Backlight bleeding is another problem. But that only really happens when the screen is completely black

> 3 dayI don’t know how this monitor is used or manufactured at all. Maybe because of ratio of Bigger screen than 24 inch and low price, But the aspect for the screen size and it’s resolution is not at all worth it. I better recommend 24 inch FHD than 27 inch and also other companies than Samsung. Because, though monitors are used mostly for entertainment and gaming and also work, I believe monitor is mainly for gaming and work rather than TV. This looks like a lowest resolution old TV reduced size. I bought this for work mainly which I need in vertical as well. It is terrible to read any text in this monitor. Every text is blurred and weird oh god hurts my eyes. Samsung has great TVs but I am not going to prefer a monitor of Samsung again. I made a biggest mistake and purchasing a 4k LG monitor.

> 3 dayTerrible monitor. Advertised as 1ms, I believe RtIngs tested it at more like 7-10 ms response time, so terrible motion blur and black smearing. Contrast is great but for what? Outdated display port, horrible gsync compatibility (flickering at lower fps). Almost returned this one but was moving and it would have been a hassle. Now it sits on a desk and collects dust. Replaced it with a much cheaper 240 hz, dell ips that was also $50 cheaper. Trash

> 3 dayI brought this monitor four months ago, and it start to blinking and some stripe shows on the screen. Sometimes, I will be totally black out for no reason(half of screen become black).

> 3 dayIt’s a beautiful monitor at first glance. Though after extensive setting adjustment, the best this monitor can perform will be sub-par for competitive FPS players. It’s a solid monitor if at a lower price point, though the competitors at this price point are likely to outperform this monitor by leaps and bounds. If you’re looking to play a game like Genshin Impact or Skyrim, this will get the job done. But if you’re a fast-paced Apex, CS, COD, etc. player, this is not the monitor for you, not at this price point.
