This portable SSD is great. It is very small in size (smaller then typical internal SSD harddrive). One thing to be careful of is if you are using this to store files that you want to backup to time machines. The drive comes formatted in ExFAT. Time Machines will automatically flag this drive not to backup and will have it grayed out so you cannot remove it from that. If you reformat the drive to an Apple format you will then be able to remove the portable drive from the do no backup folder list in Time Machine. Other than that small quirk the drive is great. It is small, speedy, with plenty of space.

Fast and no hassel. Just what I needed.

This drive is fast and surprisingly small. It solved my photo processing and library storage problem (for now, at least). Because its so small and light, its now permanently attached to my laptop lid with velcro fasteners. One think to think about before buying: the drive comes with the exFAT format, which isnt supported by at least one major online backup company. Once I had loaded my files, I couldnt bear to go through that process again, so I switched backup providers.

Ive been waiting to buy a portable 2TB SSD for a while now. Ive looked at many different brands, SanDisk, G-Drive, Glyph, etc... But I didnt want to spend a lot of money. I picked up this T5 as an Amazon Deal of the Day so I got an awesome price! I also finally got to try Amazons 5 month, no interest, item payment plan lol.
