I wanted some additional adopted storage. I tried a couple of external USB hard disk drives, but it would take FOREVER to boot up and accessing apps/games was noticeably slower. After hooking up the T5, its a world of difference, no lag at all.

I purchased the Samsung T5 6 months ago and it has never worked properly, and the Tech Support is virtually nonexistant. Every time I plug it into my Mac computer USB port I receive an error message stating that it was not ejected properly, even though each time I eject it the proper way for a Mac. Also, the Mac Time Machine backup seems to get confused as to what it is supposed to do. Previously I used a Toshiba external drive without problems. I have had a Mac for many years and recently purchased a new one and the same problems came up. I tried many times to call and never reached a Tech expert that had any familiarity with the problem. I wish I could obtain a refund, but in view of the headache and lack of confidence in the T5, I am forced to purchase a new external drive from another company and ditch the Samsung.
