Greater than one weekCannot say enough good things about this amazing little backup device that is the height and width of a credit card, 3/8 thick, and good for storing up to four terabytes of data. It is a read/write device, so basically kudos to Samsung for developing this nifty little backup drive that is sturdy, reliable, easy to use, and password protected all at the same time.

> 3 dayThis drive is small fast and stays moderately cool during operation. Ive had this for a little less then a week and transferred 500 GB data onto it in one session. So far no concerns. Previously have had two other SSDs; Transcend models one purchased in 2013, the other in 2015. Both were great but this drive is significantly faster, twice capacity, half the size, runs cooler and cost per TB was less then half the cost of the older ones. It is a nice upgrade.

Greater than one weekBought this to use as an external SSD to speed up my slow-as-molasses lemon of an iMac that I fell for purchasing last year. (2019 21.5 iMac with HDD...I know, right?) I was ready to spend $350-500 to upgrade internal SSD and RAM to get the machine that I thought I bought in the first place. Once I did more research, I realized that I could get the speed and functionality I desired using an external SSD. This little guy did the trick! I chose the T5 over the T7 due to my iMacs data transfer limitations (up to USB 3.1) and honestly, it was partly because the T5 is a little cheaper. I also love how portable this SSD is for future travel or flexibility.

> 3 dayI render video directly to this drive using Adobe Premiere and Adobe Media Encoder. It appears to be almost as fast as the Internal SSD in my MacBook Pro.

Uhhhh...
Greater than one weekI have the Xbox One S. When I plugged it in (with my phone charger cable) the Xbox said I could store music and photos because its too slow for games.

> 3 dayWhat a great compliment to my XSXs internal 1Tb SSD, 1TB VLocity SSD and 4Tb HDD (used for N64, PS2, OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and games I dont play very often. Its basically archival storage).
