I had a terrible experience. I couldnt get the drive to work nor could i download the software. Customer service was terrible and nasty. Ultimately the agent said the device is not working with Macs at this time, to check back later. It was returned and i went with the G Drive, couldnt be happier.

I tested several games (total war games only actually...), it is totally fine, no disconnecting problem occurs. The loading speed is good, provided you have a USB 3.1 Gen2 port.

Arrived late and it sticker is already peeled off as if it was opened.

Solid product. No issues so far.

This is very handy. I store VMs on it and have even run them off of it without too much noticeably different than using the local hard drive. Its a good buy too.

I was excited to have a portable SSD drive to take with me on to go. Unfortunately, within the past year I’ve had 2 incidents where the drive just randomly decides to stop working. It doesn’t show up when connected to my Mac. All it does it drive up the fans to 100%, and the only way to get it working again is to format it. I’ve lost all my information twice, and this happened AFTER my return and tech support window closed. The drive just stays on my desk most of the time and away from other possible magnetic and static interference. I only needed to travel with it once, and the drive worked fine afterwards so I don’t know how or why this drive is behaving the way it is. All I know is that I’m tired of losing my data and am afraid to reformat it again just so the drive can seize up again in the near future. Pretty disappointed as i purchased this external SSD for its reputation and great reviews.
