I bought a 1TB T5 recently to supplement a 500GB T5 Ive owned for 2 years. I love the speed. SSD storage accessed through a USB 3 connection is *so* much faster than lower technology. I use them for image storage, and its like having the files on local SSD. The T5s compact dimensions are great. I tuck it in a small pocket in my computer bag so it goes everywhere my computer goes. And its rugged enough that my frequent travel doesnt faze it.

I love this thing. I travel a lot and take plenty of 4K footage. This portable SSD is so small and lightweight that its easy to carry around and be able to offload all my footage onto it. Now I can edit 4K footage over USB-C without any delays in playback that I would otherwise experience if I were working from HDDs. Blazing fast, highly portable, and a good price point.

The headline says it all and Samsung support is nonexistent.

Its so much faster and more reliable, I know its expensive and its worth it
