This hard drive is very easy to use and looks durable. I have had these for 8 months now, no issues.

The SSD hard drive works well and is very compact, exactly as advertised.

I needed a solution to store my ps4 games and this was highly rated across multiple websites. So far it works great, but Ive had quite a few hiccups where the game (Call of Duty MW) crashed and the hard drive is telling me that I improperly disconnected the harddrive. Im not sure if this is the fault of the hard drive or the game. When it does this, it tells me in 5-6 successions that the harddrive was improperly disconnected. Will see if it continues and I might need to get a replacement.

From reading the other reviews I thought I was going to have to erase and reformat for Mac but then I used the Samsung utility software that came with the T5 and it works perfectly.. at least in my case it did. The unit is pretty small and is light as a feather. I’m starting to realize that a terrabyte is a huge amount of space. I would buy this again but in 500gb.

Couldn’t be happier with this EXT SSD. I bought the 2TB version. It’s expensive but worth the money IMO. Backups that used to take 4 hours now take 25 minutes, and the drive fits in the palm of your hand. Nuff said.

Very pleased. Metal case with solid state design should provide years of dependable service. I prefer solid state drives over those with internal moving parts that can be damaged, which for me easily offsets the higher cost. Comes with cables for connection to new or older computers (I have a 5+ year old Dell with USB 2.0 ports). Plug and play in less than 5 minutes with software already installed on the new Samsung drive. Write speed with the older USB 2.0 port runs about 25 Mb/s on my computer for larger jpeg files. Bought the optional hard storage case for added protection. Drive is about the size of a credit card and easily fits in your shirt pocket for easy transport. The cables provided are about 15 inches long, which is fine for using the drive on a table, desk or tray, but not long enough to leave the drive in your pocket and still plug it into the device. Very lightweight and can be password protected. Capacity of 1 TB drive received was 1,000,169,668,608 bytes with 16,575 bytes of installed software using exFAT file system. Works great with Windows 10.
