Cannot say enough good things about this amazing little backup device that is the height and width of a credit card, 3/8 thick, and good for storing up to four terabytes of data. It is a read/write device, so basically kudos to Samsung for developing this nifty little backup drive that is sturdy, reliable, easy to use, and password protected all at the same time.

It was so small it came out of backpack and was lost rather quickly. Bought as a gift and could not get encryption to work with really new Mac either. Just my 2 cents....

Bought this to get around the outrageous price Apple charged for SSD. Using with a new Mac Mini ( 2018 ). Blackmagic disk test shows ~ 500MB/s read and write. Much faster than spring disks, plenty good enough for me for photos and music. I dont edit video.

Bought to back up important information. Worked out of the box. Fast and portable. Carry in my backpack with no problems so far.

Very small, sleak, and extremely fast. I wasnt expecting it to work so quickly and so well. Perfect portable hard drive. About 1/3 the size of my cell phone.

Works as advertised except included cable repeatedly works its way free from my 2016 MacBookPro. Ive tried every one of the four ports and the problem continues.

If it were possible, I would have given this product a negative score. I tried using the software on the drive, drive not recognized, tried downloading directly from the manufacturers site, still not recognized as connected, called tech support, etc. Nada! Dead! Tot!

The SSD is great, but in less than a month the USB C to C cable doesnt work anymore
