> 3 dayThis drive works great; no issues loading files so far. One thing to take not of is that if youre going to use this drive to store videos to watch on your TV, you will most likely need to format the drive. After using Windows disk manager and formatting the drive to NTFS from the drives default exFAT, I was able to store and watch videos on my LG TV. Overall would recommend.

30-03-2025plugged it into my computer, did the samsung setup, and got into transferring items. the storage kept disconnecting at a whim and all of a sudden, just stopped working. ejected it, plugged it back in, and my computer stated acting like some 1990 artifact, taking for ever to open apps and even the eject menu. I/O and perimeter problems started showing up and just isn’t worth the hassle. keep scrolling for something else, this isn’t it

30-03-2025Comes with plenty of storageif you have an android. Or several adapters to use it for Apple. Apple products will not simply plug into the T5 very frustrating.

> 3 dayThis is my first external SSD and I will never go back to mechanical external drives. Silent, small, and fast, SSDs are clearly the better option.

> 3 dayPurchased 19 months ago and have loved it... when it works its great. Lightweight and fast. So thats also the problem. You rely on it more and more and more until one day after days of editing with Final Cut Pro my MacBook makes a swooshing sound and restarts. From that point on no data on the drive can be read. Plug the drive in and swoosh then reboot. Did I mention its at the worse time. So disappointing.
