Scarecrow Small Deluxe Custom Fangs

Overall: I really liked it. Super easy to adhere the fake teeth to my real teeth. Lasted all Halloween night! Worth the price for what you get. In-depth: It came with a wooden stick to mix, the little beads that melt, some liquid that smelt like nail polish remover and strong chemicals, the teeth and a little capsule to mix it in. I read the directions and it worked like it said it would and wouldnt budge off my teeth if I didnt want it too. The liquid however smelt nauseating, I tried to save some after I made the paste but it seemed to disintegrate the bottom of the little capsule which was concerning but I threw it out anyways. Lasted all Halloween night and didnt cause me any discomfort. I could talk fine in them and so much better then the cheaper ones I have tried.

I bought these hoping to have a nice pair of vamp teeth. They are nice quality but the tubes of powder had barely any o had to use two tubes to have enough for one tooth. Well one set perfectly and the other set and the next day one wouldn’t stay on. So I bought the refill kit. Again i made sure they both sat on my teeth in the same position on both sides after they were cured one wouldn’t sit and stay where I had cured it to fit so I tried again. Now the teeth molding is just falling off it’s barely sticking to the fang and doesn’t have a secure hold on one tooth and keeps falling off. I really don’t want to have to buy another refill kit. I had a pair of these teeth 6 years ago that I lost in a house move and they cured perfectly first try but this is ridiculous I’ve spent more then I ever have before on a pair of fangs because of the refills. If I buy another kit I’ll have spent 60$ on one pair.

These look great! It took a few tries with the bonding serum to get them looking the way I wanted, but there is enough of the powder to allow for a few tries. Great purchase that I will definitely use for future costumes!

good price, great look, followed instructions, but the mold came out of the fangs after about the third removal. I was still able to put it back in and use the gangs for the rest of the evening, but they were loose and was afraid that the would fall off at any moment so I had to keep pushing them on with my fingers before I spoke or smiled.

The process was easy but once they are set and sit over night it would have been nice to have more capsules to make sure they are ready for being worn.

So I had a set of these about 9 years ago and I loved them! Over time I lost one of the fangs and I just never replaced them until now. These teeth are still just as realistic as they were before and Im amazed at how well the color still matches my teeth. I do indulge in teeth staining pastimes so I was worried that theyd be too bright but its a near perfect match! My only gripe is the molding wax. I had a hard time getting the right consistency and just getting the teeth to stay on. I dont remember having trouble at all before. I ended up using all of the capsules given and luckily I already had a couple here which I ended up using. Theyre staying on but theyre not as secure as I remember my first pair being.

I for the life of me cannot get these to work. This is all probably just user error but I find the mixture for the teeth to mold onto my teeth is very odd and I follow the directions perfectly. The mold doesn’t seem to want to stick long enough to properly harden. I will keep trying but will probably have to go a different route as I have only 2 chances left. I am going to try using Corega adhesive cream for dentures as a replacement. You can also use the denture cream if you have had work done on your teeth instead of using the included adhesive.

I ordered this for my little Halloween vampire (11 year old girl), along the regular sized fangs. These were the winner hands down. The other fangs made her look like a sabre toothed tiger and these, well they are super cute. They would be sexy on a grown up person as well. (Since my daughter is only 11, she is obviously not allowed to be sexy) They look almost real, which I realize is a strange notion for a vampire, but you know what I mean. She wore them for hours, and they were totally comfortable. She even wore them around the house, just for fun. The only thing I would caution buyers on is the stuff to stick em on. It works great the first time but when put away, it ate through whatever plastic container it was put in (by daughter, so not 100% sure). Anyway, that meant going to back up fangs for leftover putty. Plus I found it somewhat alarming that the sticky stuff actually melted the container, which made me wonder what kind of effect it has on teeth, mouth, etc. We also tried FixoDent, which my daughter gagged on and spit out, which turned out to be awesome, because she resolved never to have to need dentures, and made resolution to brush, floss, etc. to keep that from ever happening.

I splurged (nearly $20) for these as part of a Halloween costume because they were well reviewed and appeared to be of better quality than most. The color and finish on the fangs is great, and the small size is perfect for a subtle look. But the adhesive that comes with the product just doesnt work well. Even after three attempts, it would not keep the fangs securely fixed on my top canines. It got frustrating, and I gave up on trying to use them at the time. They may be worth getting if you have a better adhesive to use with them, though.

I wear these for demon/Sith cosplay actually. The kit comes with the fangs and instructions and materials needed to customize these for perfect fit. The set even comes with extra setting materials, so if you get part way through fitting them and realize that you maybe put them on your teeth crooked or shoved them too high and into your gum line, you have plenty of materials to go back and do a couple of re-dos until they feel perfect. I chose the smaller fang size and put them on my canines, and I often got complimented on how real they look. Sometimes people were even quite surprised to find out how how the price tag actually is for these teeth. Its sort of funny to see people want to reach out and touch your teeth, of all things, when youre covered in dark red makeup and layered wax and latex sculpting, but it absolutely happened. As for wear, the pair I have have done me well for more than three years now. They are quite comfortable, though I would find that the inside of my lips and my gum line dont like it if I wear them for 12 hours a couple of days in a row. Given thats a pretty extreme example, I feel like most people will be good for casual wear. They do not get stuck, and they are easy to remove and put in (though you will be able to tell if you get a fang on the wrong side). You absolutely should remove them for eating; I never had any trouble drinking with a straw. They should definitely be removed if you need to chug down some water, because its possible to knock them loose on accident. Fit- You need to choose which size teeth you want based on your own natural tooth size (do you feel like you have dainty teeth or broader teeth, and how much of a fang do you want going). As far as the actual fillings go, the paste that you put in the cap forms around your own tooth as you insert the cap when you are first preparing them. Youll note that the tooth is a little wider in depth than your natural tooth probably is. This is why you dont eat with them! When you first place the cap, you press the front of it flat against your own tooth, and the back juts out a little on the inside of your mouth. This is on purpose and ensures that the cap doesnt get stuck on your tooth. Once youre done with setting them, youll be able to tell almost immediately which fang goes on which side. This was a concern for me because my teeth are uneven in size, but the filling customizes them so that there is no doubt which cap belongs with which tooth. In fact, when I recently had some work done (chipped my tooth on some glass, darnit!), I was able to immediately tell that setting was not as sure on that tooth. Im ordering a new pair because it doesnt hurt to have a second pair, but also because I feel better having the set fit properly. Anyway I love these fangs! Ive used them in so many costume sets, and sometimes just when I was feeling a little fangy on a particular day.
