Great youth helmet.

I have two 8-year-old daughters who needed bike helmets. One wanted pink and one wanted purple so I purchased the Intercept and Thrasher models (despite the bad reviews, I purchased the Intercept helmet just to get pink!). While the Intercept helmet fell apart within a month, the Schwinn Youth Thrasher Helmet works really well, fits right with room for growth and has held up beautifully. Worth the extra $5 for the quality and dependable adjustability.

Does the job, my kid loves it

My daughter chose this helmet. It looks good and matched her bike perfectly. It fits her head great and stays in place with the adjustable chin strap clip and back of the head adjustment. The visor works great to shield the sun and can easily be removed and put back on. Hoping not to find out how safe and effective the helmet is (fingers crossed). Looks great though!

My 9-year-old just faceplanted pretty hard. Other than two scraped-up elbows, theyre perfectly fine. Time for us to buy a new one-- and please remember to buy a new helmet after any major impact, even if it looks okay!

It fits my 6 year old who has a size 52cm head perfectly with the straps all the way tightened, which means this helmet should grow with her for the next several years.
