> 3 dayI like this media and it fits nicely in my media basket, with some left over. Would be nice if it came with a bag though.

Greater than one weekI bought this product after using three or four different brands/kinds of media and this is by far the best. The pebbles are larger than I expected, but the bottle says that it never needs to be replaced and that it can be rinsed without depleting all of the bacteria culture. I used MicroBacter 7 for two weeks to culture the media and I have had absolutely no problems with my nitrate or nitrite levels. When it gets dirty I rinse it with cold tap water and it does not seem to affect it at all - it still works well to reduce toxins even after rinsing. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayMy water never had that polished look until I starting using Seachem Purigen product. I am now changing my media slowly over to their Bio Media. If it works as great as the Purigen I am sure I will be very pleased with the results.
