I have used this in my 125 gal reef tank for two years in a 5 stage canister filter. I have two 304B canister filters and one of them is just totally full of this and it is working wonders for my tank! One of the best purchases I have made since Ive been in the saltwater/reefing hobby.

My water never had that polished look until I starting using Seachem Purigen product. I am now changing my media slowly over to their Bio Media. If it works as great as the Purigen I am sure I will be very pleased with the results.

Trying to keep my goldfish tank crystal clear has been a challenge in my slightly overstocked tank dispite keeping NO3 and NO2 on the high side of normal. I have been doing full water changes every month and have tried variety of filtration medias and charcoal products. I decided to try this in my Tetra HOB fiter. I placed the rocks in the open spaces of the plastic bio filter. You could see it improving the water clarity day by day until the water was clear.

Been running for about 2 months and have not seen a miricle. Its it a aquaclear HOB. At this point I have to say its no betteror worse than any other bio media
