This is the fastest storage media available today (and the most expensive too), but it is hard to notice any improvement over the previous generation, or even SSD. It is fast, but not fast enough to make a real difference.

It was a great price and easy to install. Hardest part was getting the ps5 plates off (wasn’t really hard at all). Once the plates are off it’s was a breeze to install.

Installation with the PlayStation 5 is easy without complications: SSD runs substantially better and faster with games installed into it. Given the less than 1 TB amount of space on the console, an SSD is necessary for those who are looking to add more space: the FireCuda 530 is what youre looking for.

I bought this for my son for Christmas, I tried setting it up ahead of time. Ive built many gaming PCs in my lifetime, starting before SSDs exist. My current PCs all have 3.5 inch SSDs in them that do work. I first tried installing this into a new SATA port, it doesnt show up in bios. I then tried plugging it into a cable that is known working with a current SSD, also didnt show up in bios.
