I installed it on a PS5. Very simple and quick. You pop the PS5 lower lid out, unscrew the extra SSD storage lid, remove the screw and adapter, place the adapter on the second to last slot, insert the SSD until you hear the click, screw the SSD with the adapter, screw the SSD storage lid, and then just slide the PS5 lower lid back on. Less than 5mins, just do it on a surface things wont roll off and get lost. As soon as you turn on the PS5, it will help you format the SSD with a couple of prompts and you are set.

they got the 5100 tbw advertisement when you click on the 2tb firecuda 530. THAT INFORMATION IS FOR THE 4TB FIRECUDA 530. THE 2TB FIRECUDA 520 ACTUALLY HAS A HIGHER TWB THAN THE 2TB FIRECUDA 530. the actual product is fine. the information they advertised on the product is the issue. its false advertisement/misinformation.

Great SSD. Very fast read and write, very impressed with the performance of it. Sped up my PC by a very noticable amount. Would highly recommend if youre looking for a a very fast drive.

Purchased this to free up some of the poor amount of console storage. Slots in with ease and soon as you fire up the PS5 it asks if you wish to format it. 6530ish MB/s speeds when I first formatted. More than happy with that. Added bonus with The Mandalorian Beskar styling.

Okay there are only a small handful of PCI 4 SSDs right now, this is one of them. It is from a name brand and it has a VERY generous 5 year warranty.

Received SSD and installed. BIOS said zero bytes meaning hard drive is defective. I returned this to Amazon the next day (3 weeks ago) but have not received my refund yet. Went to Best Buy and installed another SSD without any problems. Perplexing.
