> 3 dayI ordered the 1TB SSD w/Heatsink for the PS5 and it was an easy installation! It took a mere 5 minutes to get it set up and start up the PS5 to format it. Im thoroughly impressed, as it also also has an almost 7,000mb/s read time, a noticeable jump from the PS5s 5,500mb/s read time! I have no complaints thus far!

> 3 daySo heres some stuff you might want to know. It is in fact easy to install, but getting it to register in Windows is something else entirely. This isnt the fault of the HDD, its the Operating System. So Im going to tell you how to get around it.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research on SSDs for the PS5 and this one got pretty decent reviews. I wound up getting the 2TB version since the 4TB is kind of on the steep side on price.

> 3 dayWhen I installed the drive in the PS5. The PS5 reported I was getting a read-write speed of a little above 6400MB/s less than the advertised 7300MB/s but more than enough to work on the PS5 which needs a read-write speed of at least 5500MB/s. So far I have had no issues and have been pleased with the Fire Cudas performance. It is easy to install, format, and the PS5 settings are easy to apply. Make sure to get the one with the heat sink if you are using it in your PS5 since they run hot. Spawn Wave has an easy-to-follow video on youtube about how to install the SSD.
