the left ear has this weird bump in the back of the headphone that rubs the tip of my left ear also the ear cup is too shallow and the whole ear rubs the headphone.

Similar to others you may be reading the reviews of these headphones because they are nearing universal acclaim due to the price:performance. There is unlikely to be a better option that has the consistency and reputation that Sennheiser offers.

I normally dont write reviews for things I buy but this one deserves a mention. I was debating between getting these or the slightly more expensive, higher-end Sennheisers to use for my Scarlett 2i2 and boy Im glad I went with the less expensive option. I own a pair of HD 4.40s and I never really liked using them on my PC due to them getting uncomfortable during long gaming sessions, but once I tried my 560s I could go 3 hrs straight and not feel any head chaffing. These for me (small head) are insanely comfortable even during long wear sessions and the padding makes a huge difference (cloth > leather). Sound-wise I normally prefer having a heavier base but overall for PC use I just like the fact I can crank my music up and not blow out my ears using in-ear headphones. I havent tried listening to higher quality files like FLAC but even just listening to MP3 files I can hear the difference between using my 560s vs my Bluetooth headphones (Galaxy Buds). I have yet to really play around with using them together with my Scarlett but overall a great pair of headphones you should pick up when the price drops down.

This headphones let you appreciate music in a very detailed way. Great entry point headphones for audiophiles. It does not have much bass, the sound is neutral and detailed. Works well with Fiio portable players and does not require a dedicated headphone amp to enjoy them, with little power they have great volume.

They feel great over the ears and the sound is just a big ole WOW! For the first time ever when listening to music I can actually hear each instrument being played and game play sounds awesome. Good headphones are so worth the cost.

These headphones are almost like over-ear monitors with how well they reproduce sound. For a fraction of the cost of higher-grade headphones, they reproduce sounds quite well with great articulation across the entire audible spectrum. Yes, even as low as 20Hz frequencies, if you listen closely you can hear them, not loudly, but they are audible. What this means is that these headphones wont give you thundering, distorted bass response when listening to all kinds of music. After owning them for nearly 2 years I can safely say that they are my favorite pair of headphones and I will be sad when they eventually give up the ghost. They fit great on my head with the adjustable headband and the soft ear cups mean I can wear them all day, even with glasses on. But after nearly 2 years, some weaknesses are starting to show, mainly that the soft foam on the headband has ever so slightly started to detach and the adhesive has grabbed a few hairs making them a bit painful to take off my head.

Bought these for my turntable, was underwhelmed at first and then bought a good amp for headphones. Now I love the HD560S. My music on my turntable as never sounded better. Highly recommend these.

Many years ago I previously enjoyed my open back AKG headphone. After reading many reviews and research I decided this model was worth my decision to purchase. I can say I made the right decision for open back headphones. It’s a great physical fit for my head with little to no fatigue after approximately 120 minutes of use. It’s sound quality far exceeded my expectations of it which I must admit was a concern to me. I look forward to enjoying this headphone for time to come.

The HD 560S indulges the audiophile evaluating their music’s entire journey through the audio path. This open-back headphone is tuned to reveal the truth in your music without sacrificing the gratifying bass response needed to reproduce complex modern music—all at a breakthrough value. Its transducers are angled to recreate the optimal triangular listening position for a wide, articulate soundstage. The lightweight design of the HD 560S gives the listener a “barely there” experience for extended listening
sessions. The low-impedance drivers offer the flexibility to reproduce hi-fi sound on virtually any of your audio devices such as portable digital audio players, laptops, A/V receivers, audio interfaces and more. A detachable 3 meter cable provides the perfect amount of freedom to access your gear, and features a
6.3mm plug with a flexible 3.5mm adapter. This combination of accuracy, wide sound field, smooth bass performance, and long-term listening comfort make the HD 560S suitable for hi-fi aficionados and music tasks alike.
