Clarity is an understatement...I have a big noggin, and it fits just right, at the max adjustment. The velour pads on the ears, and velour pads on the bottom of the head band are pretty comfortable. These are not ath 50s...lol These are flat, but dull in no way.

This headset is very comfortable. It is a huge step up from traditional headsets with dac/amp. But the right ear went out after less than a year of ownership. My sennheiser earbuds also went out after a few months. I wanted to believe in Sennheiser but their products dont last.

A good pair of midrange headphones at the given price point.

They sound tinny and unnatural. I bought it as a present for someone and they said it sounded terrible. I tried them and was negatively surprised by how weird they sound. They are made in China so maybe Sennheiser is losing their quality and is just trying to mass produce over hyped products. The sound signature of some of Sennheisers headphones may just not be for me. Sound is very subjective but these just sound weird, maybe I need a DAC or an amp to improve them or EQ them but out of the box they sound really bad. Maybe these headphones are too analytical for me which is why I find them hard to listen to for a long period of time. Build quality is ok but I am sick of Sennheisers all plastic builds because they feel so cheap. If you get the chance to try them in person definitely do so before purchasing.

The sound quality of these is exceptional as expected from Sennheiser, but I feel like the build quality is lacking compared to the HD280s that I have. I wish they made a 160ohm set in the closed back style for noise cancellation. But these get the job done.

Definitely best quality for the price. The open back design makes it so much nicer to listen to outside noises as well as enhances the soundstage. I paired this headphone with a mini amp and USB dongle for my PC and its definitely one of the best gaming/audio experiences you can get for under $200

These sound amazing, but are insanely uncomfortable. My head slopes to a bit of a point at my chin, and this pair squeezes my head right above my ears. If you have a rectangular/square, or round head, these would probably fit you better.

Ive had this product for at least 7 months and it was working great until recently. Now when I watch videos on it it makes an annoying static sound which is very dissapointing for the brand sennheiser.
