> 3 dayThe HD560S has one of the best FR/tonality that I have heard in over ear headphones. It has better bass extension than the HD600, but has a bit of an upper mid and lower treble emphasis. If that wasnt there it would basically be near perfect. At $150, this can be your entry and exit point into the audiophile headphone game. I have had much more expensive gear and liked this (and the HD600) more. Things like the Focal Clear, HiFiMan Sundara, Ananda, among others. Just buy it.

> 3 dayToo much clapping force, wire much shorter than expected. Sound is OK. Ordering process was good, and delivery was quick.

Greater than one weekThe sound quality of these is exceptional as expected from Sennheiser, but I feel like the build quality is lacking compared to the HD280s that I have. I wish they made a 160ohm set in the closed back style for noise cancellation. But these get the job done.

> 3 dayI have tried MANY Sennheiser like the overrated HD600 and 650. The 560s is MUCH better than those with a more robust balanced sound unlike those mentioned which rolloff their bass way too high and sound thin.

> 3 dayBest entry level audiophile headphones under $200. Amazing Sennhesier sound signature. FWIW - I wouldnt order these from Amazon again- box was delivered with NO additional boxing, meaning they just slapped a label on the product box and had no protective shipping packaging at all. Really? Headphones were not adequately protected in shipping and had partially damaged box.

> 3 dayHuge sound stage, but harsher in the highs than my HD58x which can get fatiguing. There is a lot of clamp out of the box, but if you use that box to stretch it out then it quickly fixes it. These sound great and dont suffer the Sennheiser veil, but sometimes the music sounds a bit too far away. Im running these off my Xduo XD05 basic dac/amp. You dont need an amp to run these, you might notice a slight increase in quality if you do, but youll have to be really listening to it. Pros: sounds better than their $200 price tag suggests, really comfy, long cable.

> 3 dayLet me preface this by saying this is my third pair of Sennheiser headphones - first the HD58x, then the PC38x, and now these. I will also add that I have an extremely large head, so comfort is sadly hard to come by for me. Having said that, I find these to be more than adequate in terms of comfort and the sound quality is just excellent.

> 3 dayThe amount of detail I can hear with these headphones is something Ive never experienced before. I am keeping these (not returning them) and have now purchased a DAC / amp just to see if it gets even better. (Im currently using them through my PC cases front audio jack. The fit is pretty tight and it hurts a little but Im hopeful they will loosen up over time. The padding material is very soft and I like it a lot more than the usual leather material.
