Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition Over-Ear Headphones - Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I purchased it on Black Friday and its about 95$. But when I tried to authenticate it one the official website by using its label ID I found its FAKED!

Great for movie and game. Bad for music.

This is end game....Must Buy, using it with 24 bit flac files with schiit fulla 2 on desktop and Fiio x1 2nd gen on the go...it RULEZ ....Nothing can come close at this point and in this price bracket its a steal

Love these, I have the brown and yellow ones and just purchased another pair for my friend. Great sound quality for open back with good bass and minimal sound leakage (at a regular volume, of course it would leak if youre blasting it). They are super comfortable and you can wear them all day with glasses without a headache. If you want to wear these in a noisier environment, I found if you wear earplugs under the headphones it will block the ambient sounds from the environment and you can still listen to your music clearly.

Its amazing quality but a bit on pricey side. I would recommend them if you listen to a lot of music or watch a lot of movies. Definitely worth it if you use them which I do.

Premier constat, 2 câble de longueurs différentes sont fournis ainsi que 2 tailles de jacks. Je regrette que le câble le plus long ne soit pas encore plus long. En effet, je comptais me servir de ce casque notamment pour regarder la télévision sans déranger personne ce qui nest pas possible car, à cette distance, je risque de perdre la vue! Le casque est confortable, ni trop léger, ni trop lourd. Le rendu velours est agréable pour les oreilles et même après une utilisation prolongée, à part limpression de chaleur, le confort est toujours là. Au niveau du son, on approche de la perfection! Les basses et les aigus sont bien restitués et équilibrés. Le son est presque cristallin, précis mais, personnellement, je trouve quil manque un peu de puissance (soumis à la limitation des décibels autorisés). En lutilisant sur mon PC, jai tout paramétré au maximum et, malgré tout, jai parfois du tendre loreille pour profiter de tous les morceaux écoutés. On a quand même frôlé le sans faute!

Granted, its only been two days, but I can say in that limited time that these are fantastic headphones. Full disclosure, these were used in conjunction with a Fulla Schiit amp. Theres not much to say that others havent harped on, just know that these bring out sounds you may not have heard in high-quality audio recordings and are insanely comfortable. I bought the HD 598 mainly as gaming headphones as I tend to play music over speakers, but these may change that. Theyre fantastic for both, make no mistake. I use a pair of V-MODA M100 when I need a closed sound stage (traveling), which do have superior bass punch, but I much prefer the 598s for most usage (even though the V-MODAs cost quite a bit more). Electric Wizards Dopethrone album feels as if youre in the drug-fueled sound studio.

I bought this while on sale to replace my beats headphones and I am so glad I did. The sound is great and has a nice amount of bass that comes thru cleanly while the rest of the sound is very clear as well. They are also very comfortable. Excellent purchase!

Okay, so I dont even know where to begin. These are THE best headphones I have ever used. They fit well, feel great (even after 5 hours of gaming), they dont squeeze your head too hard so wearing glasses is confortable. I could go on, but I think you get my point.
