> 3 dayThese headphones are really nice. The sound quality and the noise cancellation is really nice. I also like the capability of being able to fold one of the ears off to the side, i works well when mixing music. My only complaint is that the headphones themselves are a bit small for my big ears. They put alot of pressure on them and after not even 30 minutes, my ears start to hurt. Sad since I paid a pretty penny for them, but that was my own fault for not looking into it more.

> 3 dayNice headphones to be sure - but I take issue with calling them DJ headphones. They dont have the swivel ear and are kind of small/unwieldy (if that combination makes sense) for mixing. The build and sound quality is great, so I definitely recommend them in general, I would just go with something else for actual DJing.

> 3 dayThese headphones are extremely good and durable, theyve been my favorite companion to almost everywhere I go for 2 years. Soundwise, they are great for the value, mostly flat and detailed sound just a liiitle bit V shaped response. Totally recommend these as entry hifi and very durable headphones.

> 3 dayThese, sound wise, are on par with the Momentum 2s or the HD599s or the AKG K451s. If youre familiar with those and like the sound signature, youll get more of the same with the HD25s. I found the clamping a bit much out of the box but gently stretching the headband reduces the clamping. I like the adjustable split headband. I like that nearly every part is replaceable. Im not wild about the stock ear pads and plan to replace those soon with something plusher. That said, I wouldnt hesitate to buy this model again and certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great portable sound. Ive played it through my headphone amp, my receiver, my television, and my telephone. It performs well on all. This model really excels with flacs, compact discs, or hi rez streaming. The sound is energetic yet balanced and easily heard in loud environments like public transport or airplanes. The soundstage is virtually non-existent but I barely noticed because the sound is so wonderfully tuned. The HD 25 handles all genres well. Ive been able to wear these headphones for a few hours at a time. YMMV.

09-06-2025I thought Id upgrade to these after having a pair of Sony Professional over ears for the first few years I learned to DJ. These cost about 60 bucks more so I expected them to be great. Good: The sound on these is excellent and barely anything is lost with the on-ear design. Theyre lightweight and comfortable, you could mix with these for hours and your ears wont get sore or sweaty. Bad: Every negative thing about these comes down to the build quality. The rubber pads peel immediately after you start using them, right off the bat. The wire is super short, so these things get ripped off your head pretty frequently if youre active behind the decks. After that, it was about three months before the connectors started getting loose and making crackling noises and drops in volume. I constantly have to fiddle with the connectors to get the sound to come through correctly. The connectors are not enclosed, so its easy to bump them and loosen them. Eventually, the left one started to do the same. It was too far outside a return window to do anything about this and Im pretty unsatisfied with these. Stick with cheaper Sony headphones until you can go up one more tier and stay far away from these.

> 3 dayOriginally, I was put off by the cheap feeling construction... That is, until I put them on and heard the quality of the sound. These are great headphones... The range of the HD 25s is very good; I feel the bass is rich and and mids/highs are crisp. Sennheiser has found a good balance between low and high range frequencies. I cranked my volume pretty high and I did not hear any clipping or distortion. I am very please with these and they even sound better if you pair them with a DAC! If you are an audiophile, these are great starters.

> 3 dayLight weight, comfortable, and versatile make these perfect for run and gun video/film style. Very good audio quality. But impossible to change from the coiled cord to the straight the cord. I was unable to find the appropriate size took to use so I gave up. They should include it in the package given the pricing.

> 3 dayI tested at least 20 headsets ($150 to $350 range), in the same location, at the same time, using my iphone, on the same song ( with very dynamic highs and lows, volume shifts, etc ) and these headphones blew every one of them away. The comparison to the others wasn’t even close. The bass response was so impressive, the mids very clean (not muffled) and the highs are so crisps and clean its hard to believe. You have to compare headphones side by side to really know how good a pair is. You can’t check one out then drive to another location and compare. So why a 4 star? I thought these headphones were made in Ireland. All the reviews, videos and pictures I saw show made in Ireland. Well, not any more. Sennheiser opened a new factory in Romania. Apparently this is where all the consumer electronics gear is now made. Sorry Romania nothing against you, but I feel, perhaps unjustified, more confidence in products from Ireland. Thats one reason why I bought. So a big let down with made in Romania for me. At least it didn’t say made in China. I would think the new factory in Romania is state of the art as it just opened so maybe Im wrong on this. But still disappointed.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is acceptable, and the build quality is good. Passive sound isolation is also good. However, due to the high clamping force of these on-ear headphones, wearing them for long periods of time is not comfortable.

> 3 dayThese headsets are just great, ready for you to take them wherever you go. Excellent for noisy places and for booths with no noise cancellation. Great audio quality
