> 3 dayAbsolutely incredible. Words can’t even describe. Produce for over 5 years and have always been looking for some quality headphones that are accurate “sonically”. I can’t always use my KRK monitors and sometimes those don’t even provide a proper bass reference. These are amazing. If you’re like me, you like to study music and figure out all the tricks in a song. These let you truly listen to every layer. Made me go back and listen to all my favorite artist. It’s a whole different experience.. if you’re worried about the price, it’s a great investment just like any gear!!! 100/10

> 3 dayThese were my first DJ headphones. They are virtually weightless and extremely flexible. I could wear them a couple of hours at a time and not be in agony. Even, clear sound - not the bassiest choice you can make for sound though. HOWEVER: They lasted about a year before the connection went to crap and the right cable began to short out. Now, they require me to wiggle, press and bend on the right side (red) connection point in order for both sides to work, and its not always stable, even or consistent. And of course, wouldnt you know it, this happened just out of warranty and Sennheiser didnt deem them worthy of repair. It really drove me nuts and I had to replace them. Since I was mad at Sennheiser I went with a different brand, at which time I learned that I really like a coiled, detachable cable with ONE connection point, and that I prefer over-ear cups to on-ear. Your mileage may vary on all of this - the fit, how you perceive the sound, whether they stay functional for you, but this was my experience with these entry-level cans and I wouldnt buy them again. If I didnt prefer over-ears to on-ears, Id make the investment in the HD25 plus model and skip these altogether though, because yeah, senni sound.

> 3 dayWow, I was searching for a long time and watching for top ten best headsets and this headset came up every time. I was going to get the Technics headset, but saw a lot not happy with new design. So I bought these. Flat out amazing! At first I thought something was wrong? The music came in different. Then after awhile. I started to trip out on the clarity I was getting with only one ear covered. Amazing! I was hearing lyrics of songs I have had for years and was understanding every single word. Some songs I have had for years had high pitched hits I never clearly heard before! Get these! The price is right, tons of web sights recommended these. You won’t be upset.

> 3 dayEvaluating audio equipment is always subjective, take that as a given. These phones have very good sound clarity with minimal false coloring across all frequencies and provide a noticeable depth of sound stage. They have some emphasis on bass, but it avoids being boomy or otherwise intrusive for most listening. My only issue, rather minor at that, is a somewhat tight fit. A bit looser headband and less pressure on the ears would lead me to rate them higher. Sensitivity is quite low. With my smartphone, an LG V20, a volume level of less than 50% of maximum provides plenty of volume, a lower setting than any other phones I have used.

> 3 dayI love the headphones, which is no surprise because I loved the previous version (HD 25-1 II). My only note to buyers is to make sure you are careful whom you buy it from. I bought this listing beliving that it would be the HD25 Plus (as thats what it says in the product title) which comes with a pouch, extra pads, a curled cable and a little bit higher of a price to match. What I got in the box instead was the base HD-25 (no difference in the headphones themselves, just the accessories and slightly cheaper of course) which is annoying. Not enough to be really mad, but its made it clear that headphones are probably one of the things I will have to buy in person so I know exactly what Im getting before they get my money.

07-06-2025They started shorting out before I could even use them for a recording class (which recommended them). Since I needed them in a hurry, returning wasnt an option. It was a struggle as they would cut in and out unless I held them just right. [EDIT: I eventually just pulled out the connectors and put them back in when this happened every now and then. In 2022 I had to replace the cord because the wire broke after years of bending. The earphones have worked fine over the years since I bought them and I would buy them again (unless I find something better)
