> 24 hourIncluding the hardware to hang, this light will certainly light up the workshop - the ability to dim it with a 0-10V dimmer will also allow it to not be too bright when its not needed. The body is solidly built and should work well for dissipating the heat from the LEDs.

> 24 hourThe description, pictures, suggested mounting height of 16-19 and with a light spread of 50 clearly indicate this is for a high ceiling. So, if youre planning on putting this in a garage or similar space 10 off the floor (as I did) just be aware of what that means (as I wasnt). Im a sucker for LED work lights. I like bright light and I was intrigued by the 30,000 lumen claim. I dont have a light meter to verify but when I plugged it in and looked directly into the light (not recommended) I had to immediately look away and still saw spots for a minute. Its more than a foot across and very well constructed. The strong mounting hook threads into the base securely and another machine screw threads through the hook to prevent it from slipping the ceiling mount its attached to along with a steel cable and carabiner for added safety. Impressive. You can just hang it, plug it in to a switched outlet and use it right out of the box. Or you can plug it in to a regular outlet and run some wires from a separate dimmer switch to the set already installed in the light itself. In any event, youll figure it out.

> 24 hourThis high bay light fixture is nice and bright, includes a safety cable (just in case your install is wonky), and hangs from a locking J-hook. It comes with a pre-installed 3-prong plug, plus a separate set of wiring if you want to hook it into a dimmer. One of these lights up a specific work area nicely. Or with more than one will handle a larger area just fine.

> 24 hourThis light came packaged in a heavy cardboard box with Styrofoam padding under and over the light, very solid packaging. The light measures about 10 inches across overall and the light bulb is about 7 inches in diameter. It also has a stainless steel safety lanyard with carabiner you can attach to a beam as a safety to keep the light from falling if the hook attachment should fail. (the hook is not going to fail, but possibly the chain you hang it from may) It is simple, just screw the hook into the back of the light, use the small black screw that comes with it and insert it into the collar around the hook and tighten, to prevent the hook from unscrewing. Just hang the light on a hook or chain and it comes with a second longer screw to basically close the hook on the light. Then plug it in. The light does need to be plugged into a switchable plug as there is no On/Off on the light but as it is designed to be hung 10 to 13 feet high that is to be expected. This light is BRIGHT, I only had it on for a few minutes but during that time I did not note any excessive heat, but after a period of time I can imagine it could get hot. I have it hung over my Grill area at about 8 feet high and it lights up the area far better then 2 LED Flood Lights I had previously. Great light for a large area if you have enough headroom.

> 24 hourPretty much plug and play, as it has a standard grounded three prong plug. Its hanging in my attic, where it shines a bright light pretty much everywhere. I guess I no longer have an excuse to clean things up there, now that nothing is hidden. Really good light; my bad luck.

> 24 hourVery well designed and executed. • EXTREMELY BRIGHT! • Solid but fairly lightweight aluminum housing/heat-synch. Gets warm but not hot. • Standard plug is a big plus (vs. hard-wired only). • Hook and safety lanyard are SOLID. Versatile. • 5000K Temp produces a perfect color - not yellow, not blue - very neutral white light. • DIMMABLE is a very nice feature. Seems counter-intuitive but extremely useful if using in a smaller room to paint, for example. Personally, I intend to fabricate a torch-lamp frame and utilize as a torch/indirect lighting source in my great-room with 20ft. ceilings. Dimmer will definitely come into play. All-in-all, theres nothing I DONT like about this light. Definitely a do-over for me.

> 24 hourAmazing light! Love that it doesn’t get hot to touch at all! I can cook under it without having to rely on any other lights. It hangs very nicely and I am very pleased with it!

> 24 hourThe light is very bright. We hung it in the garage over the workbench to provide more light. Our garage is not insulated, so it gets cold in there. This light comes on right away and is full power, even in the cold. The other lights in the garage are not cold start and take a while to get to their full brightness. It is very heavy, so make sure you secure the anchor bolt well. We did not use the wiring for the optional dimmer on it. Its nice that its movable if we should need to place in a different area.

> 24 hourLike most people, my garage is too dark. Ive been looking for something to replace the florescent lights that will provide more light while using less electricity. Looks like this light will do it. It is well-designed and constructed. The designers are very safety-minded. They included a setscrew to ensure that the mounding hook cant unscrew (the cord would prevent that by itself), a safety screw to prevent the hook from disengaging from the chain or eyebolt, and, should all else fail, a separate safety cable to catch the light before it falls. I would class this as earthquake resistant. It comes with a heavy-insulated, 18 AWG grounded cord with a molded plug. While you can cut off the plug and permanently wire it, I prefer to install a standard outlet on the ceiling and simply plug the light in. This gives me a lot of flexibility for replacement, if it should become necessary. [Even LEDs have a lifespan.] The unit Im working with is 100 Watts and I have a 9 foot ceiling to work with. For mounting this particular sized lamp I am using a simple eye-bolt, screwed into a rafter.

> 24 hourWe are up to a total of about a dozen of these UFO-style lights. Three of them are from this SENSAN manufacturer. We use them for the central lighting in various outbuildings. Honestly, every UFO light we got was a winner, and these SENSANS are no exception. In fact, the hook style on the SENSANS is really convenient, so hubby probably prefers this brand. They build all these things strong and they all put out a ton of light. We got this 150w version of this model to hang in our Pole barn and it is really very bright! Heavy-duty construction. These things feel almost like you could drive over them with your car and they would still work. We were impressed with the 150w so much that we decided to get the 200w and the 240w versions for other areas in the pole barn. We got a big barn. The 200w and the 240w have the same quality build, but of course, are even brighter! I would say this 150w would work well for 12-15 ceilings, giving you plenty of good strong task lighting. If you have 20 ceilings, you might want to bump your watts up a little to 240w. But, you also could just hang these on a chain at a lower height to meet your needs. Which every wattage you choose, you are going to be really happy with the durability and brightness of this bay light. Great product!
