The light arrived faster than expected. It’s a durable, yet light weight low profile lamp that is portable. Comes with two options for hanging the lamp so you can somewhat adjust the angle. It is very bright and can light up a large area.

Very well designed and executed. • EXTREMELY BRIGHT! • Solid but fairly lightweight aluminum housing/heat-synch. Gets warm but not hot. • Standard plug is a big plus (vs. hard-wired only). • Hook and safety lanyard are SOLID. Versatile. • 5000K Temp produces a perfect color - not yellow, not blue - very neutral white light. • DIMMABLE is a very nice feature. Seems counter-intuitive but extremely useful if using in a smaller room to paint, for example. Personally, I intend to fabricate a torch-lamp frame and utilize as a torch/indirect lighting source in my great-room with 20ft. ceilings. Dimmer will definitely come into play. All-in-all, theres nothing I DONT like about this light. Definitely a do-over for me.

Some years ago we converted our detached garage into a recording studio, with a center light fixture of multiple bulbs. For the purpose of the room at that time it was adequate, but weve since converted it again to a studio apartment for my daughter and no matter the wattage the lights werent bright enough to achieve a bright, daylight effect. Problem solved! The ceiling is very high and mounting this light in the center lights the entire space brightly and perfectly. Granted its not the prettiest light feature for an actual living space but honestly its so high your eye isnt drawn to it and all you notice is the nice, cool light coming from it. My daughter is an artist and loves being able to see her projects in detail.

Installation couldnt have been easier. The light comes with a hook on the top and a plug to go wherever you want it. We put ours as high as we could in the garage and WOW! What a difference it made. That garage was LIT UP so brightly! Bc its LEDs, this very bright light generated no heat, whatsoever. Were very impressed with it and very happy with all the light we have in our garage now. Its fantastic!

This light is super bright. Its in a cast-aluminum housing, and is not flimsy in any way. I like the fact that you can hang it from the hook that you screw into the housing. Its very secure. The cord is about 6 feet long. This is absolutely meant for high ceilings, such as in a commercial building. Very nice.

I have several of these and they work super. Buy according to your ceiling height so the lighting is correct or you will need a longer chain so the light covers the area its suited for. Very easy to install but keep in mind the cord is not super long and you will need to add a cord if too far from a power source. 5 stars from me so far.

I ordered this light with the intention of using it in my garage. Right now, I use fluorescent tubes, but this fixture seemed to promise better light in terms of brightness and color. The lamp is manufactured from heavy, cast aluminum with deep finning to keep it cool. It is nicely finished in black and has a really high-tech look. The device has a 14.5 diameter and including the attachment hook is 13.5 tall. I would guess it weighs about 3-5 pounds. The light is compact and not too big or heavy for me to handle even on a small ladder. For installation, a strong metal support hook is provided. This was easy to attach using the dedicated threaded boss on the back of the lamp. And theres even a safety wire provided to back up the hook should it come loose. Optionally, you can use the threaded boss without the hook, and design your own mounting system. The electrical leads (5 AC power cord with 3 prong connector and dimming control wires) are brought into a metal box located on the top surface of the light. Stainless steel Allen screws are used to attach the box and provide easy access to the wire connections if you decide to run wires to the lamp directly. For me, I was going to hang the lamp using the hook and a mounted eyelet and connect the 5 AC cord to an electrical box located near the light. After receiving the lamp and testing it at my house, I understand now that it has too much power for what I intended. However, as a partner in a small environmental company, I think this will work well in our warehouse where the ceilings are at 18 and more appropriate for this light. This is a light built for commercial applications and can hold up to the day in - day out, continuous duty required in our building. Lamps like this can be installed throughout a warehouse or as in our case, installed over one of the many zones that could use a little additional light. After spending some time with this lamp, I can say this is a versatile, cost-effective lamp. It features quality materials, is designed for Commerical applications and is very powerful. I think the high tech look and finish would also look good in a show room or display area. Although my garage wont benefit, this lamp meets all of the descriptions and specification given on the webpage. Its easy to recommend.

This light is very bright! I love the fact that you can hardwire or use it as a plug into the wall light. You can easily move this light around in your work areas where you need more light. Easily hangs with the hook attached. I cant say enough good things about this light, except you probably will be buying several of these. The price point is excellent. I highly recommend.

We are using this light in a pole barn and the light output is outstanding. We used the supplied mounting options and used a safety wire just in case. The unit is well constructed and is dimmable with a 0-10 volt dimmer (not supplied). We are very pleased with this product and our space has become more usable. Recommended.
