This LED area light is easy to install, using a screw eye or a chain to suspend it. It simply plugs into a standard outlet, and can be connected to a dimmer, a feature that I did not test. I did a temporary installation in an outbuilding that I use as a wood shop and tool storage. I clamped it to a rafter about 10 above the floor. The photos show the installation, and the area below it being lit by the fixture. This fixture provides excellent light over a wide area, and works well in a high bay scenario. I am more than pleased with the illumination.

This is your basic UFO light. It looks like a little flying saucer and puts out a lot of light. It is designed to be 16 to 19 feet up. It looks well made with quality materials. Installation is simple, screw in the eye, fasten it to an eye or chain, fasten the safety cable, plug it in and turn it on. It has an ROHS label. That means the European League certified that it does not have hazmat inn its construction. However there are no UL, ETL or CE labels on it that I could find. If it isn’t certified, does your insurance cover the building and contents if it starts a fire?

This is a 150 watt LED fixture. It produces light in the 5000K range which is white like daylight. At this wattage it is making the same light as 15 100 watt incandescent flood lamps. It makes very little heat and the lamps are very long lasting. It will supply light to a large area and can be mounted much higher for more coverage. It has a mounting hook with safety screw and a secondary safety cable built in. Fewer fixtures mean less wiring and less installation costs. It is very well built and takes little space. Since it is light in weight, there is almost no chance it could fall. Altogether a sound selection.

Like most people, my garage is too dark. Ive been looking for something to replace the florescent lights that will provide more light while using less electricity. Looks like this light will do it. It is well-designed and constructed. The designers are very safety-minded. They included a setscrew to ensure that the mounding hook cant unscrew (the cord would prevent that by itself), a safety screw to prevent the hook from disengaging from the chain or eyebolt, and, should all else fail, a separate safety cable to catch the light before it falls. I would class this as earthquake resistant. It comes with a heavy-insulated, 18 AWG grounded cord with a molded plug. While you can cut off the plug and permanently wire it, I prefer to install a standard outlet on the ceiling and simply plug the light in. This gives me a lot of flexibility for replacement, if it should become necessary. [Even LEDs have a lifespan.] The unit Im working with is 100 Watts and I have a 9 foot ceiling to work with. For mounting this particular sized lamp I am using a simple eye-bolt, screwed into a rafter.

Are you looking to harness the suns brightness in the ceiling of your shop or warehouse? If so then this is the light you need. Would you like to plug it in without needing to hardwire anything.....well this one does that as well. LOL ok seriously this light has got to be the brightest light I have ever seen. Im surprised we can legally buy a light this bright. Now if you follow the recommendations of the height requirement per whichever size you need then these will work better than any light on the market that draws as little power as this one. I ordered one a little more powerful than I needed but I am beyond happy with it. The aluminum housing will get hot but its meant to so the heat dissipates. It doesnt get so hot as to damage itself but dont place this light right next to anything easily combustible. There is also a wonderful plug already attached to it. Everything you need is here to light up whatever space you choose. Highly recommend this light!!!

Pros Outstanding Power Factor Just about everything Cons Emits some radio interference but only for the first few seconds of operation Delivers less than its spec but only by a few Watts Notes Weighs 1.60Kg, which is beefy and serious Dims down to 6.2W minimum Output is stable when input is over 90VAC Color temperature is roughly 5,000K as advertised Case is grounded Specs on dimming Dim circuit voltage, Watts, Pf 0.10V, 6.2W, 0.96Pf 2.5V, 23.5W, 0.96Pf 5.0V, 48.3W, 0.98Pf 7.5V, 74.3W, 1.0PF 10.V, 96.6W, 1.0Pf the current on the dimmer circuit is minuscule. If the light is too bright but you have no 10V dimming equipment on hand you could tie a dead 9V or a varying number of AA cells in series on to the dimming input leads of roughly the voltage corresponding to the output you want. Eventually the light will become too dim and you will need to find a suitable source for the adjusting voltage but by then you will know what voltage you are looking for and can forgo the expense of an official 10V dimmer unit. You should be able to take a wall wort of near the correct voltage and tweak it with diodes (0.6V drop each) or make a resistor divider circuit with a variable resistor to deliver an output customized to what you want Conclusion If power factor is a top concern it doesn’t get any better than this. Easily a 5 star product. I cant see how they can retail this for $40 so expect the price to go up. Note- I do give 1 star reviews. This product earned my respect.

I mounted this light on the rafters of my workshop in the barn. You literally only need 1 of these lights to illuminate the entire room. Super bright. The higher the mounting, the more light you will get.

This LED high bay light is extremely bright it comes with a 2 wire dimmer hook up, which you will need if you’re using this in a small area. The housing is made up of aluminum with a polycarbonate lens cover. Comes with a mounting hook and safety cable. Has a 5 year warranty included. This is a good price for such a high lumen (22,500) light.

The description, pictures, suggested mounting height of 16-19 and with a light spread of 50 clearly indicate this is for a high ceiling. So, if youre planning on putting this in a garage or similar space 10 off the floor (as I did) just be aware of what that means (as I wasnt). Im a sucker for LED work lights. I like bright light and I was intrigued by the 30,000 lumen claim. I dont have a light meter to verify but when I plugged it in and looked directly into the light (not recommended) I had to immediately look away and still saw spots for a minute. Its more than a foot across and very well constructed. The strong mounting hook threads into the base securely and another machine screw threads through the hook to prevent it from slipping the ceiling mount its attached to along with a steel cable and carabiner for added safety. Impressive. You can just hang it, plug it in to a switched outlet and use it right out of the box. Or you can plug it in to a regular outlet and run some wires from a separate dimmer switch to the set already installed in the light itself. In any event, youll figure it out.

When I got this SENSAN LED UFO high bay light for our garage/shop area I was expecting it to add some light to it coma but wow this makes it so that I can see everything im working on very clearly. This light is bright bright and its not so bright that it hurts your eyes it probably would if you look directly at it,but I can work in the shop now and it doesnt hurt my eyes even though everything is completely lit up like a emergency surgery room. I set it up because I wanted to do some appoxy projects at night and so I grab the slight and literally I just had to plug it In then screw in the that hook on top And hang it. Boom that easy. Its got a regular 3 prong plug in with the cord already on there. I plan to get another one for the other side of our shop and I am thinking Im going to get a few to put down the walkway of our barn so at night when we are feeding; we turn those lights on and we dont have to worry about anything not being lit up or thats not able to be seen. Plus, with these being led Lights our electric bill will not suffer. Good quality, well made and easy to install. Whats not to like?
