I bought this system to monitor the temperature in my RV while we were out, leaving two dogs behind. This product does that very well. My problem is that I needed to use my wife’s iPhone or her iPad as a hotspot, to avoid using unknown reliability campground WiFi, if it was available. For whatever reason, the hotspot would not stay locked onto the gateway (which transmits the data to my iPhone). I suspect that the problem was with my wife’s phone/pad, not the gateway, because it works fine on my home WiFi - just not with the iPhone or iPad. Long story short, I returned the system because we were unable to resolve this incompatibility. (30 day Amazon return window) The quality of the system is great. It is simple to set up, and it reliably sent alerts when the temperature rose above a selected maximum (or minimum). THERE IS NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE. I wish it had worked for my particular situation. The customer support is outstanding! The response to my emailed concerns was rapid, helpful and considerate. Thanks Jonathan! Works flawlessly, easy to set up. Can monitor my humidors anywhere now and receive alerts before it’s too late. Deduct 2 stars for the price. $100 is just over the top, half that would be a bit more reasonable. I tried to find the solid gold that must have been added to warrant such a price but was unsuccessful.

The gateway is functional but I did not experience the best range to the sensors. The sensors are top notch. Their sensitivity and data tacking is amazing. I dont know if it is because they are actually made in the US and the gateway is made in China. The support is outstanding. I recommend the product and will buy again when the need arises.

After a few hours of trying to get the WiFi Gateway working and then more time with tech support, it turns out that the unit doesnt work and needs to be replaced. It was purchased for a specific task that is time sensitive and we needed the WiFi to work now, not when they get around to replacing it. Extremely disappointing and makes it clear that this company doesnt understand either quality control or at least testing something before it leaves the factory. The sensor seems to work right, but requires someone to be nearby to monitor it, and that was not our intention. Amazon sells plenty of alternatives to this product. I strongly suggest you find another option and not this one.

Awesome product for plenum area where pipes could possibly freeze. Easy setup and gateway alarms work perfectly . We are remote landlords and this product gives us complete piece of mind.

a little pricey but when additional sensors are added this product is amazing. this is only to allow your sensors to connect to your wifi instead of bluetooth only so you can monitor on the go

Not sure where all these positive reviews are coming from but these devices are a disappointment. I believe they have a LOT of potential but they are not there yet. The Gateway is NEEDED to see the sensors remotely and the Gateway is too weak to see the sensors if they are not within 30 or 40 ft of the gateway. The Gateway also falls off the network intermittently. No real dashboard on the Gateway so there is no way of really knowing what is going on with the gateway. Setup of the gateway is pretty cruddy and it takes a LONG time for it to connect. Last, these devices are pretty expensive for something that does not work very well. The accuracy of the sensors have a LOT to desire. Putting two different sensor next to these show these sensors are a few numbers off for Humidity, Dew Point, etc.
