I love these wipes and will definitely be buying them again! They are pretty thick but at the same time very soft, kind of like baby wipes. I use them to wipe my babys high chair and sometimes even her hands after a messy meal. I love the fact that one wipe is actually enough to clean up quite a bit of surface area, and more importantly they dont leave that foamy stuff all over. They do have a strong thyme smell but it doesnt seem to bother me at all. I definitely feel good about not having toxic chemicals on the surfaces that my baby touches. Ive tried other natural wipes but I like these the most and I think I will stick with them. This reviewer received a free product for the purpose of writing a review. I use these wipes for both my home and in a laboratory setting. We rotate three different disinfectants through our lab setting to control microbial and fungal contamination, performing a weekly cleaning with one cleaner per week. The disinfectants we use are these Seventh Gen Disinfecting Wipes, 70% ethanol solution, and 10% bleach solution (again, NOT using these at the same time). I personally have a lot of issues with the fumes from ethanol and bleach, so much so that I do not help clean when we use them in the lab, and in my home I do not hang around when the husband wants to use disinfectants with bleach or bleach alternative in them (although it is fabulous for certain things), and ethanol is not a common household disinfectant, especially at the 70% effective concentration. I am a fan of the smell of these wipes (they smell fresh and clean to me, not chemical-like), my kids and most of my coworkers also like the smell of them, but they do smell strongly and not everyone will appreciate the smell. As with anything, there are people that will find they have sensitivities to certain products, so if you find or already know that you have sensitive skin, wear some gloves- I doubt you will find a similarly effective DISINFECTANT that doesnt also bother you. If you are cleaning a food surface, it wont hurt to rinse with water (like with any other disinfectant), but in my opinion it isnt as necessary with this product as with some of the others. Obviously dont ingest the wipes or liquid (or really go ahead if you would like to go for the Darwin award). If you are worried about the product having an SDS (formerly known as MSDS), relax- everything has an SDS- most people just arent aware of it (because who knew water also has an SDS?!). The wipes have a lot of juice so they give a great kill time on surfaces and one wipe goes a long way. The bottom line is that this is a very effective natural disinfectant that I prefer for my home over some of the harsher chemical disinfectants, so if you want a DISINFECTANT and not just a topical clean (if you dont understand that, google the difference between cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer to determine your end goal, and then do your research on what products you will need to alternate to achieve your desired result, as no product will kill everything), this is a great choice!

The wipes are convenient and easy to use. We use them to wipe down our workout equipment in the gym.

This is my first time trying Seventh Generation disinfectant wipes. These wipes claim to kill 99.99 % of bacteria and viruses, and I use them to disinfect surfaces such as door knobs, countertops, and other non porous surfaces. The six canisters came sealed together with plastic, but there’s no inner seal in the containers. Still, the wipes arrived good and wet. The scent nearly knocked my socks off as it smells so potent and unpleasant. I don’t smell a lemongrass citrus scent and instead I think these smell of Citronella and mostly Thymol, which at least serves a purpose an an active ingredient. I’m glad to have found these disinfectant wipes as they’re so hard to find lately and I’d buy these again, but I do find the scent tough to take. 4 stars.

Agree with other reviewers re: wet time and smell. As a physician and amateur chef, Im highly skeptical of anything that requires a 10-minute wet time to disinfect. Thats for the most part not practical, particularly when you often need multiple wipes to maintain that wetness. As appealing as it is to avoid harsh chemicals found in the competitions products, I used up this pack and will not purchase again. Im going with a hydrogen peroxide based wipe, which, while it may smell even worse than these, gets the job done in seconds to a few minutes. Hydrogen peroxide is actually naturally occurring and much more effective at disinfecting. Three stars only for this products efficacy in cleaning, not disinfecting.

Think these are the best value for money antiseptic wipes... better than Purell. They work and dont smell of chemicals like the other ones I have tried. I put these on Subscribe and Save and get them quarterly now.

I love having a disinfecting wipe that comes from a natural source and isnt loaded with chemicals that are harmful to my family. Being in restaurant management and the father of two little ones, the importance of a clean environment is always something I pay a great deal of attention to. This is especially true about the kitchen and the bathroom. I love that these wipes are easy to get out of the container, retain their moisture very well, and can be used on food contact surfaces like my cutting boards. They do leave a hefty amount of streaks on shiny surfaces and it does not cut through grease well but both were to be expected of a non-harsh cleaner. I also love the smell of the lemongrass citrus. However, I have worked around lemongrass and the scent is basically all thyme. I would recommend this product to anyone who desires a clean environment for their family while reducing the amount of toxic chemicals in the house. Dont forget to recycle the bottle!

These work great for spot checking. I add little water. I like them for counters, handles, remotes, Phones and toliets. They make cleaning easy and less cumbersome.

These are the only disinfecting wipes I’m happy with. I tried other brands and have always returned to the Seventh Generation ones. They’re amazing at cleaning even tough spots on the stove top. I really like the scent. I don’t understand how other reviewers can be grossed out by it. It feels natural and at least I know I’m not smelling harsh chemical fragrances like Lysol for example. This 6-pack used to have a very good price ($33-$35). While I understand prices going up because of pandemic economic hardships, I don’t find it fair to pay double the amount now. I really hope they can bring it back down to where it was.

The smell is so weird! It reeks of oregano?? Every time I use the wipes my husband asks why it smells so weird in the house. Otherwise, good wipes and a good value.
