Im so glad I bought these - what a deal! I ordered a pack of six nearly 4 months ago and have only used up one container so far! I use them for cleaning my whole apartment! Counter tops, appliances, door knobs, cabinets, desks, inside the fridge, etc. They are durable and have a lot of cleaning power! I keep folding them and wiping until theyre completely filthy. Theyre cruelty free, eco-friendly, and do not contain harsh chemicals. I am confused why some people in the reviews are put off by the smell. They smell a little earthy and ever so slightly lemony. I dont mind the smell at all, actually find it pleasant. My only nitpick is that occasionally I pull out a wipe thats super-saturated with the cleaning solution, and have to squeeze it a bit before using. Not that big of a deal. Definitely recommended.

I have always loved the Seventh Generation disinfecting spray. I usually use that spray with a cloth or spray directly on the surface and allow to dry. I tried for so long to avoid going back to using disinfecting wipes . . . I felt like it was more expensive and was just another extra product to clutter up the cabinets. However, now that we have a very active (and messy) toddler, Ive totally jumped back on the disinfecting wipe wagon! These are thick wipes with plenty of solution on them. One wipe is plenty to do a quick wipe of the bathroom counter (You have to remember to make sure the surface is wet with the solution and then let it air dry to disinfect). I keep a container of them in the kitchen, laundry room, and every bathroom! They make disinfecting and quick clean ups convenient and I appreciate the fact that the disinfecting agent is plant derived. They do have a distinctive smell, but it isnt unpleasant and when the surface is dry, the scent disappears!

The ingredient in these wipes will kill MRSA, HIV, influenza. They are safe around food and kids. They don’t smell like perfume or chemicals. I used them on all handles, light switches, water faucets, the fridge and microwave during flu season for several years and it made a difference! This year, because we are remodeling, I haven’t used them much and I have already had a bad cold. I need to buy more! This is far and away the least expensive way to purchase these, and these are the larger size tubs.

While I have read the reviews for this product, and while smell is an individual opinion, what reviewers are not mentioning is the great consistency and size of the cleaning cloths. They are super soft, large enough to do a good job (I use just one for an an entire double sink bathroom counter plus) and they pick up the smallest bits of dirt easily. I personally like the smell way better than that obnoxious Pine Sol or ammonia smell that makes you think youve just entered a gas station bathroom. The smell that you notice when you use the cloths dissipates rather quickly and your bathroom is not left smelling like the cloth, unlike other cleaners. I really like this and have been a fan of this product for quite some time.

The scent of this product is really unpleasant but the cleaning products are really hard to find these days. So, I use rubber gloves to wipe everything down so the scent doesnt linger on my hands, and I toss the used wipes in the garbage in the garage instead of in the kitchen. I know I am being really over sensitive to this, but I just really do not like the fragrance. I still appreciate having the wipes that I know will kill the germs which is far better than having this virus. So, I am grateful.

The ones at my local store selling for about $4 have only 40 wipes; these have 70. I am happy to pay less than $6 per pack including tax. ORIGINAL 2016: I love this product - it attacks greasy stuff in the kitchen as well as germs in the bath. A wonderful overall cleaner whether you use the spray or the wipes. I was actually amazed at the first time I used it to clean the microwave and greasy cabinets and appliances in the kitchen - that was a spray bottle - so Im getting these 6 pack of wipes with absolute confidence. UPDATE 8/2018: I switched to Mrs Meyers concentrated cleaner (which is a bargain as you dilute it yourself and use your own spray bottle) for counter tops, toilet seats, etc. and what not in bath and kitchen, and I decided I would stop buying these wipes. WRONG. I missed them. The thing with these is you dont have to grab a paper towel and you dont have to SOAK a paper towel or rag. This is so much better for things like the toilet flush handle, knobs, or going around the baseboards.

The wipes are convenient and easy to use. We use them to wipe down our workout equipment in the gym.

I use these wipes for both my home and in a laboratory setting. We rotate three different disinfectants through our lab setting to control microbial and fungal contamination, performing a weekly cleaning with one cleaner per week. The disinfectants we use are these Seventh Gen Disinfecting Wipes, 70% ethanol solution, and 10% bleach solution (again, NOT using these at the same time). I personally have a lot of issues with the fumes from ethanol and bleach, so much so that I do not help clean when we use them in the lab, and in my home I do not hang around when the husband wants to use disinfectants with bleach or bleach alternative in them (although it is fabulous for certain things), and ethanol is not a common household disinfectant, especially at the 70% effective concentration. I am a fan of the smell of these wipes (they smell fresh and clean to me, not chemical-like), my kids and most of my coworkers also like the smell of them, but they do smell strongly and not everyone will appreciate the smell. As with anything, there are people that will find they have sensitivities to certain products, so if you find or already know that you have sensitive skin, wear some gloves- I doubt you will find a similarly effective DISINFECTANT that doesnt also bother you. If you are cleaning a food surface, it wont hurt to rinse with water (like with any other disinfectant), but in my opinion it isnt as necessary with this product as with some of the others. Obviously dont ingest the wipes or liquid (or really go ahead if you would like to go for the Darwin award). If you are worried about the product having an SDS (formerly known as MSDS), relax- everything has an SDS- most people just arent aware of it (because who knew water also has an SDS?!). The wipes have a lot of juice so they give a great kill time on surfaces and one wipe goes a long way. The bottom line is that this is a very effective natural disinfectant that I prefer for my home over some of the harsher chemical disinfectants, so if you want a DISINFECTANT and not just a topical clean (if you dont understand that, google the difference between cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer to determine your end goal, and then do your research on what products you will need to alternate to achieve your desired result, as no product will kill everything), this is a great choice!

Knowing these seventh generation wipes disinfect and safe to use around my kids and pets is reason enough for me to use them. I really love the earthy fragrance which isn’t over powering, and leaves behind a nice lingering smell as it dries. The wipes are more of a cloth texture vs other brands that feel cheap and linty. These dont dry out my fingers like Clorox.

I thought I would leave my opinion on these because I did a lot of debating if I should try them. I did end up getting some to try and I am so glad I did. I have been making the switch to a more natural approach for a few years now and have been using a lot of Norwex. However, I wanted a wipe for the toilet (because, well, boys haha). I didn’t want to use any of the Clorox brands or anything because I am trying to avoid those hazardous chemicals. So i got these and I am really happy I did. They did the trick and the toilet does not smell anymore. The smell on the wipes is strong, but I have been using thyme to clean forever so it doesn’t bother me at all. I would recommend these if you are searching for a safe alternative to your disinfectant wipes. The price is a bit high but it was worth it to me
