04-06-2025I like these for disinfecting things that my daughter will be coming in contact with, especially after people have been sick or when strangers visit. A few things to know about them- they are very wet and sudsy so when you wipe a surface, they leave a sudsy wet trail until it dries. I dont consider that to be a problem and that might be how they disinfect but some people might not like that. They clean well and Im happy to be able to disinfect my babys play mat, toys, and highchair easily. I keep a tub in her toy bin, near her highchair, and in the car. I would love to rate them 5 stars, but the one thing that takes away a star is the scent. I didnt realize they were scented when I bought the 6 pack, though I might still have bought them if I had read the scent lemongrass citrus. Unfortunately, it really smells more like thyme, which is a lovely taste in my food but not really my favorite scent in my home and on my babys toys. Im sure it is a personal preference and some people might love the scent, but for me I am seriously regretting buying 6 giant containers of this smell! I still think they deserve 4 stars though because they are otherwise great wipes that give me piece of mind when using on things my daughter will touch. Maybe they can come out with another scent option for my next purchase!

Greater than one weekI use these wipes for both my home and in a laboratory setting. We rotate three different disinfectants through our lab setting to control microbial and fungal contamination, performing a weekly cleaning with one cleaner per week. The disinfectants we use are these Seventh Gen Disinfecting Wipes, 70% ethanol solution, and 10% bleach solution (again, NOT using these at the same time). I personally have a lot of issues with the fumes from ethanol and bleach, so much so that I do not help clean when we use them in the lab, and in my home I do not hang around when the husband wants to use disinfectants with bleach or bleach alternative in them (although it is fabulous for certain things), and ethanol is not a common household disinfectant, especially at the 70% effective concentration. I am a fan of the smell of these wipes (they smell fresh and clean to me, not chemical-like), my kids and most of my coworkers also like the smell of them, but they do smell strongly and not everyone will appreciate the smell. As with anything, there are people that will find they have sensitivities to certain products, so if you find or already know that you have sensitive skin, wear some gloves- I doubt you will find a similarly effective DISINFECTANT that doesnt also bother you. If you are cleaning a food surface, it wont hurt to rinse with water (like with any other disinfectant), but in my opinion it isnt as necessary with this product as with some of the others. Obviously dont ingest the wipes or liquid (or really go ahead if you would like to go for the Darwin award). If you are worried about the product having an SDS (formerly known as MSDS), relax- everything has an SDS- most people just arent aware of it (because who knew water also has an SDS?!). The wipes have a lot of juice so they give a great kill time on surfaces and one wipe goes a long way. The bottom line is that this is a very effective natural disinfectant that I prefer for my home over some of the harsher chemical disinfectants, so if you want a DISINFECTANT and not just a topical clean (if you dont understand that, google the difference between cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer to determine your end goal, and then do your research on what products you will need to alternate to achieve your desired result, as no product will kill everything), this is a great choice!

> 3 daySay good-bye to stinky bleach and chemical smells and headaches! With this product, you still eliminate the same 99% of germs, but you will actually want to breathe in the air. A very pleasant smell! Unlike traditional Lys* and chlo* wipes, these ones will not dry out your hands nearly as much. We sent these to school so our child did not have to touch the unsafe chemical wipes. We also keep them in our car to wipe off the steering wheel, door handkes, cell phones, etc.

> 3 dayI really like these as an alternative to Clorox wipes. They are great for countertops, cleaning up the high chair after dinner, and wiping up toys. They do leave streaks on glass and stainless steel surfaces so I wouldn’t recommend for that. At first I didn’t like the scent but after a few weeks I got used to it and have been using for a year now.

> 3 dayThe scent was a little off putting at first, but now I like it, and I love that I can use this on surfaces I would eat off of like my counters, kids table and chairs (which are wood and the oils don’t dry it out) even my kids toys. I don’t have to worry about him putting things in his mouth without a proper rinse. It’s so much easier.

> 3 dayThis is my first time trying Seventh Generation disinfectant wipes. These wipes claim to kill 99.99 % of bacteria and viruses, and I use them to disinfect surfaces such as door knobs, countertops, and other non porous surfaces. The six canisters came sealed together with plastic, but there’s no inner seal in the containers. Still, the wipes arrived good and wet. The scent nearly knocked my socks off as it smells so potent and unpleasant. I don’t smell a lemongrass citrus scent and instead I think these smell of Citronella and mostly Thymol, which at least serves a purpose an an active ingredient. I’m glad to have found these disinfectant wipes as they’re so hard to find lately and I’d buy these again, but I do find the scent tough to take. 4 stars.

> 3 dayThe ones at my local store selling for about $4 have only 40 wipes; these have 70. I am happy to pay less than $6 per pack including tax. ORIGINAL 2016: I love this product - it attacks greasy stuff in the kitchen as well as germs in the bath. A wonderful overall cleaner whether you use the spray or the wipes. I was actually amazed at the first time I used it to clean the microwave and greasy cabinets and appliances in the kitchen - that was a spray bottle - so Im getting these 6 pack of wipes with absolute confidence. UPDATE 8/2018: I switched to Mrs Meyers concentrated cleaner (which is a bargain as you dilute it yourself and use your own spray bottle) for counter tops, toilet seats, etc. and what not in bath and kitchen, and I decided I would stop buying these wipes. WRONG. I missed them. The thing with these is you dont have to grab a paper towel and you dont have to SOAK a paper towel or rag. This is so much better for things like the toilet flush handle, knobs, or going around the baseboards.

> 3 dayI have used clorox Wipes. Which make surfaces sticky and tacky. Lysol Wipes. Meh. Ive also used running alcohol and hydrogen peroxide to disenfect too .... but ..... in these times those items are like gold. So Id rather hold onto them for actual cleaning and disinfectant wounds and cuts. Actually keeps kitchen ants away too. Started using these before summer. And we had no ants except for a Buffalo sauce spill cleaned it all up with the Wipes. Poof ants gone again. Wipes down our pantry with these too when they appeared and they became fewer and fewer Ill keep using til then and until then dont work.

> 3 dayThese are almost perfect, my only complaint is that these are actually so wet that they leave a lot of liquid behind after you use them. While it is nice that they dont dry out like other brands do, you need to get used to them leaving quite a bit of liquid behind. I actually have found myself using paper towels to clean up the liquid sometimes. Overall though, I would definitely recommend these over other choices. I originally was using them for cleaning toilet seats and bathroom counters, but I now love using these in the kitchen as well. They have a nice scent to them, but it isnt overpowering or chemical smelling. These are a good solution for fast cleaning, which is my favorite thing about them: the convenience.

> 3 dayWe purchased this for our office break room; employees described smell / odor intolerable. We ordered a 6 pack and had to get rid of it. We dont doubt this will kill bacteria......
