> 3 dayThink these are the best value for money antiseptic wipes... better than Purell. They work and dont smell of chemicals like the other ones I have tried. I put these on Subscribe and Save and get them quarterly now.

> 3 dayThe only thing I use more than this is the seventh generation multi-surface spray cleaner. I use this instead of the Lysol wipes. They clean up like a dream, and the scent is great, very natural, not like chemicals. When I clean up, I dont worry about my 21 month old touching the surfaces. I use it on counter tops, the sinks, the toilet seats, high chair, pretty much everywhere. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because after I wipe down a surface, I have to go over it with a paper towel because it is so saturated with cleaner, and leaves suds, unlike the Lysol wipes that just wipe clean. If you dont want to use harsh chemicals to clean your home, this is the product for you, you wont be disappointed. Also, the price on Amazon cannot be beat. At the store each container is $7, so youre saving some cash by ordering online.

> 3 dayWe have used these Seventh Generation wipes for years now. The last couple years they have been used almost solely by our 4 to 6 year old child for cleaning. These are easy enough for him to get one out of the tub without three more coming with it. They are also thick and strong enough for him to be able to clean multiple tables or do a wipe down of the bathroom with just one wipe. Because these dont contain harsh chemicals like most of the other cleaning wipes on the market, I dont have to worry about my child using them with bare hands, or having any kind of chemical residue on the hands even after washing them. They do a wonderful job of cleaning, smell nice, and are safer to use. We will continue to use these for years to come!

> 3 dayI use these wipes for both my home and in a laboratory setting. We rotate three different disinfectants through our lab setting to control microbial and fungal contamination, performing a weekly cleaning with one cleaner per week. The disinfectants we use are these Seventh Gen Disinfecting Wipes, 70% ethanol solution, and 10% bleach solution (again, NOT using these at the same time). I personally have a lot of issues with the fumes from ethanol and bleach, so much so that I do not help clean when we use them in the lab, and in my home I do not hang around when the husband wants to use disinfectants with bleach or bleach alternative in them (although it is fabulous for certain things), and ethanol is not a common household disinfectant, especially at the 70% effective concentration. I am a fan of the smell of these wipes (they smell fresh and clean to me, not chemical-like), my kids and most of my coworkers also like the smell of them, but they do smell strongly and not everyone will appreciate the smell. As with anything, there are people that will find they have sensitivities to certain products, so if you find or already know that you have sensitive skin, wear some gloves- I doubt you will find a similarly effective DISINFECTANT that doesnt also bother you. If you are cleaning a food surface, it wont hurt to rinse with water (like with any other disinfectant), but in my opinion it isnt as necessary with this product as with some of the others. Obviously dont ingest the wipes or liquid (or really go ahead if you would like to go for the Darwin award). If you are worried about the product having an SDS (formerly known as MSDS), relax- everything has an SDS- most people just arent aware of it (because who knew water also has an SDS?!). The wipes have a lot of juice so they give a great kill time on surfaces and one wipe goes a long way. The bottom line is that this is a very effective natural disinfectant that I prefer for my home over some of the harsher chemical disinfectants, so if you want a DISINFECTANT and not just a topical clean (if you dont understand that, google the difference between cleaner, disinfectant, and sanitizer to determine your end goal, and then do your research on what products you will need to alternate to achieve your desired result, as no product will kill everything), this is a great choice!

> 3 dayVery strong essential oils smell that isnt particularly pleasant, but tolerable. I did some research and the active ingredient in this is able to kill Covid-19, but it takes about 10 minutes of exposure. Each wipe is well saturated.

> 3 dayWhy do they have to smell so bad? I will keep buying them because I need disinfectant wipes and dont want to use Clorox etc., but the second a better smelling one is available these are going in the trash. Im also not thrilled that you have to let it sit for 10 minutes to disinfect, but its still better than using ones that make me feel like Im covering my kitchen in toxic fumes.

> 3 dayI love having a disinfecting wipe that comes from a natural source and isnt loaded with chemicals that are harmful to my family. Being in restaurant management and the father of two little ones, the importance of a clean environment is always something I pay a great deal of attention to. This is especially true about the kitchen and the bathroom. I love that these wipes are easy to get out of the container, retain their moisture very well, and can be used on food contact surfaces like my cutting boards. They do leave a hefty amount of streaks on shiny surfaces and it does not cut through grease well but both were to be expected of a non-harsh cleaner. I also love the smell of the lemongrass citrus. However, I have worked around lemongrass and the scent is basically all thyme. I would recommend this product to anyone who desires a clean environment for their family while reducing the amount of toxic chemicals in the house. Dont forget to recycle the bottle!

> 3 dayThe smell is so weird! It reeks of oregano?? Every time I use the wipes my husband asks why it smells so weird in the house. Otherwise, good wipes and a good value.

Greater than one weekI cant complain about these. I use them sparingly because the reason I buy Seventh Generation is to be eco-friendly, while having a disposable cleaning rag feels pretty un-eco friendly. What I selectively use them for is cleaning narrow, disgusting places. Its best for the toilet, sink, shower head, drains, electric toothbrushes, and kitchen faucet. Sometimes there are areas where you just have to use your thumbnail - like the crease in your electric toothbrush or the rim around your drain - and you dont want to actually be touching the thing youre cleaning (and your hands feel suffocated in rubber gloves). The texture of these cloths gives you the barrier you need and helps remove the grit from these tricky spots. I use them around the hinges of the toilet seat, the place where the toilet is bolted to the ground, the joint in the faucet... things like that. I also like wiping chrome or stainless steel products with these but I have to go back over with a soft dry cloth like a designated cleaning sock to buff out streaks. Sometimes, Ill use these to wipe off my tile bathroom floor to collect any hair if Im in a pinch. My hands do feel dry after using these though, so if you dont mind gloves, best to put those on. These have a very pleasant smell, too. Im sensitive to chemical products, which make me feel light headed rather quickly. These dont have that effect on me. Im still waiting for a product designer to come along and improve the dispenser lid. Its SO tempting to reach in there with your finger and SO regrettable if you do. (Owch.) Also, the cleaning liquid pools at the bottom of the jar. I use that as cleaning fluid with a terry cloth rag once the wipes are gone. Finally, its important to make sure the lid is closed tightly when youre done using these. They can dry out. If they do, just close the lid and shake the container, as that pooled liquid in the bottom can redistribute to the cloths that way, unless youve left it open long enough that thats evaporated, too.

21-04-2025The ones at my local store selling for about $4 have only 40 wipes; these have 70. I am happy to pay less than $6 per pack including tax. ORIGINAL 2016: I love this product - it attacks greasy stuff in the kitchen as well as germs in the bath. A wonderful overall cleaner whether you use the spray or the wipes. I was actually amazed at the first time I used it to clean the microwave and greasy cabinets and appliances in the kitchen - that was a spray bottle - so Im getting these 6 pack of wipes with absolute confidence. UPDATE 8/2018: I switched to Mrs Meyers concentrated cleaner (which is a bargain as you dilute it yourself and use your own spray bottle) for counter tops, toilet seats, etc. and what not in bath and kitchen, and I decided I would stop buying these wipes. WRONG. I missed them. The thing with these is you dont have to grab a paper towel and you dont have to SOAK a paper towel or rag. This is so much better for things like the toilet flush handle, knobs, or going around the baseboards.
