> 3 dayI bought this to replace my old hiking backpack. I don’t use those water bladders anymore because they are hard to clean and you never know when it’s about empty. I like the pockets and the bag is perfect size for a day hike. I am not sure it’s big enough to hold my warm clothes. I wish it had a key hook but the soft pocket on top works well. The backpack does well at distributing the weight and the straps are just ok. The whistle didn’t work but I know how to whistle without even putting my fingers in my mouth. I replaced the chest strap with the one I had for my old bag. Overall I am happy with this bag, it looks nice and is lightweight. I take it everywhere, my sister in law calls it a purse.

> 3 dayIve had this backpack for an entire year I think or close enough to it. Ive put loads of hiking miles on it and its a great bargain. Ive been looking at more expensive bags and so far I havent even found one I like as well as this one no matter the cost. First the hydration bag is decent. Mouth wide enough to get my hand into to turn inside out and clean and insulated line so it doesnt get hot in summer or freeze during winter. Line does still freeze when youre out there in freezing temps tho but easily overcome by tucking inside clothes. AND, this is what Im NOT seeing in more expensive bags, the area where hydration bag stores is insulated! Yay! Its managed to keep my water cool for 4 hr hikes in very hot summer. Plenty of zipped areas, place for car keys etc. Fits well enough for me to occasionally do a little trail running too but not my preferred bag for that activity.

> 3 dayIve used the same hydration backpack for about the last 10 years and pretty much every time I used it I complained but hey I had it and it worked. Finally broke down and bought this to replace the old one. Im absolutely in love. My last bag had all these stupid straps and elastic cords hanging off of it to carry things but only ended up getting in the way. This bag is sleek, pockets are fairly large for a hydration backpack. The bladder area easily holds a 3l bladder and the material inside does a good job of keeping things insulated and cold. My one and only gripe is the bladder attachment points. I understand it was designed for the bladder that it comes with and I use a different type but velcro loops are never a good idea as far as Im concerned. Theyre a pain to use and begin to fray far too easily as you can see in the pictures. I use my backpack nearly every day for work and they are holding up well, I just have to be careful when detaching the bladder and not ripping more threads off. Overall though I highly suggest this backpack. I would without a doubt still buy it again.

22-11-2024I go to a lot of festivals and previously had a crappy Camelback that used a single drawstring for a small pocket and I ended up losing some valuables. The crappy pack I had also had a leaky bladder after only two festivals. This pack has tons of pockets and even a few smaller pockets to secure your valuables. The hose works perfectly fine and is made of quality material. No leaks after three festivals. My friends look at me like a packmule because they havent snagged one of these bad boys, but I dont even care because this thing is so comfortable you hardly notice its there. Seriously impressed with this product.

> 3 dayThis is my hiking buddy. I love the compact nature of it, but it still has space for very important hiking essentials: snacks! Plenty of space for my first aid kit, too. It is comfortable and the weight distribution when the bladder is full of water is great. The liner in the water pocket keeps water very cool after a prolonged time. Easy to use and really easy to clean! Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI had a Camelback hydration pack from a while back. I still do. This backpack is great for the price. My only beef is the valve on the drinking hose. Its not as easy to get water out of it as it was on my old Camelback bladder...it just had a simple pinch valve for water and worked like a charm. Other than the valve, this is a great value!

Greater than one weekIve been using this a lot this summer. The only issue Ive had is the two openings/holes at the top of the bladder it came with have broken. It just means that I cant use the two velcro strips to hold the bladder upright in the compartment. This has not affected performance of the bladder or pack, however. Bladder isnt leaking and no straps are frayed or showing signs of wear, and Ive taken it on two camping trips, countless hikes and random day trips this hot summer with my kid so we have food and, more importantly, water. Price is unbeatable for the quality of the product. In the past I had used a pack and bladder half the size of this one, but I was doing long distance and trail runs. I wouldnt run with this pack, too big. But its great for hiking, camping and fishing. Can fit food, water, medical kit stuff in it without any problem.

> 3 dayThis is the best hydration backpack. I used it for hiking in Colorado. It was better in many ways than the expensive ones the people I was traveling with had. The bladder is thicker and NO bad taste. It comes apart easily to clean and dries quickly. There is a cover on the mouthpiece- which is a huge plus. The backpack itself is sturdy and fits so much without being huge or bulky. There are many compartments and pockets to organize your things. I would recommend buying a brush to clean the tube. Great purchase!!

> 3 dayNothing original. They just knock off the camel system. But it works well. Good seal on the bad. Insulated hose. Great cap and protector as well as bite valve. Works perfectly. I use it mountain biking, have had some. Crashes. And it still is working perfectly. Zero complaints. I would buy again if I break it.

> 3 dayThis bag is a great size and the ‘sharkmouth’ openings are perfect to reach inside the bag. I was hunting for a bag that was more compact and this is perfect for a 5’4” slim teenager to carry without the bulkiness of a standard backpack. We needed a feeding pump backpack for our daughter while she had her NG feeding tube, with few straps I was easily able to modify this pack. I added Velcro straps to the current bladder Velcro straps (inside) to hold her bag of feed and ice pack. The monitor fit nicely at the bottom with no tube kinking. It has the thermo backing inside to keep the liquid cool. The zipper and wide ‘mouth’ opened nice a wide for quick access to every pockets and to the feeding machine as needed. Our daughter used different pockets for all the feeding pump supplies, couple of water bottles, meds, her wallet with ease. Now that the feeding tube has been removed our daughter looks forward to using this again for outings as hydration bag or regular pack.
