Amazing
Greater than one weekI saw others complained of a plastic taste to the water from the pouch so i was worried. I soaked the inside of my pouch with a dishwashing detergent pod and hot water for 10 minutes. Then I rinsed it out thoroughly until squeaky clean. Be sure to get it fully out of hose by pulling on the mouthpiece continually so the water flows freely through the hose. My husband didn’t want tall the fuss on his and so just washed with soap and water. Well he said his tasted like a toy from Toys ‘R Us from his childhood. Lol like the inside of an inner tube for the pool. Terrible, especially for a hot day. We hiked 8 miles on a beach and we loved all the features of these bags. My only 2 complaints is that the mouthpiece is difficult to get a serious drink from, it’s ALOT of work to get thirst quenched quickly, so it’s better to really just continually sip while walking. The other complaint is that in sand, the cover for the mouthpiece allows sand to get in. It’s not sealed tight enough. So be sure to put tip of mouthpiece with cover on back into the zippered compartment before putting bag onto the sand. Other than that, the water stayed cold on an 86 degree day for over 6 hours with our drive and hike. Next time I’d put ice into the pouch however to make it ultimately refreshing. All the pockets were so convenient with double zippers. I was able to keep a cold canned zevia soda in the insulated pouch as well and it stayed cold for hours. Really thoroughly pleased. Well worth the money and very comfortable. I’m 5’2” and short waisted with a 32” inseam. But the bag fit me perfectly, didn’t hang awkwardly like other back packs. I was wearing a tank top and by the end of the hike the bag rubbed a little on right arm but nothing to leave a rash.this was the most comfortable back pack I’ve ever worn. It didn’t feel as tho I was carrying 3/4 of a gallon of water at all. I packed my lunch in bag as well and bug spray etc. all in all my by weighed 12lbs fully packed but it was effortless to carry. My husband felt the same way about his bag. Would highly recommend this bag!

> 3 dayPurchased for day hikes on vacation. This was for my youngest daughter who loved the color. Hers had the most storage space of everyone. Room for plenty of snacks and emergency items. Also used as carry on for plane ride. Held all of her electronics and chargers and a sweatshirt bonus we filled it up in the airport for her to drink. Great purchase.

> 3 dayI like backpacks. I just love how functional they are. Ive bought a ton of them over the years. This has to be one of the best ones Ive ever had. It reminds me a bit of Swiss Gear which is my favorite backpack brand. It was challenging trying to find something small but still had a lot of storage. But I found it!

> 3 dayMy 10 year old son needed a new backpack with hydration bladder for an completely outdoor based wilderness class this year, and this bag came recommended. What I love about this bag: it fits my kiddo well. The smaller size of the bag means that it isn’t bulky or too big for his body. The bag has a couple of zippered compartments. The biggest pouch is the very back, where the water bladder goes. It is lined with the silver material to help keep things cool. Along with lots of ice, I added a couple of cold packs to help in the Texas heat. The back pouch allowed for me to put some lunch items tucked into the spaces that that filled water bag didn’t take up. Note: a lunch bag will not fit in this backpack if you have the water bladder filled. You need to find space within the bag to hold lunch items. The second zipper section is a decent size, and held the rest of the lunch items and a folded rain jacket. The last pocket is smaller, and that is where we kept a small bottle of bug spray, hand sanitizer, extra masks, etc. Overall, the backpack is well made and fits great. Just realize that the holding capacity goes down significantly when the water bladder is in use.

> 3 dayThis is the best hydration backpack. I used it for hiking in Colorado. It was better in many ways than the expensive ones the people I was traveling with had. The bladder is thicker and NO bad taste. It comes apart easily to clean and dries quickly. There is a cover on the mouthpiece- which is a huge plus. The backpack itself is sturdy and fits so much without being huge or bulky. There are many compartments and pockets to organize your things. I would recommend buying a brush to clean the tube. Great purchase!!

Greater than one weekupdate: I have now used this pack four times and the stitching has not come apart, but it it obviously going to soon. It is disappointing because I always take care of my gear and never over fill the pockets. I broke down and bought an Osprey daylite plus. WOW, what a better quality backpack. This is a good pack, I am satisfied with it. This was my third pick before putting out big $$$ for a name brand which I did not want to do. I felt that none of the descriptions really met my needs to spend that kind of money. I had already returned a Teton (could not adjust the straps for my frame, they were too stiff and the chest strap would not tighten enuf). I also returned a Rumpumpak (it would not hold enough and I just didnt like it). But this one: PROS: 1. perfect size for keys, iPhone or gps, extras, lunch, sun screen, bug spray, toilet paper and stuff a small jacket in there too. 2. Bladder compartment has a reflective liner to try to keep the water cool as long as possible. 3. The straps adjust just fine, I am a female, 51, #140. The back does not sway on my back at all and does not seem to tug anywhere. 4. My back sweated some, but it was a 8 mile strenous hike, 95 degrees mostly in the sun. Overall it did well, my shirt was not drenched and i did not feel uncomfortable. Cons: 1. The bladder! Who would use a black or even green bladder is stupid. I would like to see inside to make sure it is clean and no floats. I put this one in the Goodwill and bought a Platypus (a product that I know I can trust). Plus I connected the hose to the bladder and it is WAY TOO DIFFICULT to disconnect. Life it too short. 2. There arent any attachment sites on the outside of the main pack. I fixed this by attaching those gear ties to the two straps on the side. They will work fine if I want to attach my jacket or a towel outside. My trekking poles can go into the mesh pocket and attach at the top with a gear tie. Im all set.
