SHIMANO Cleats SPD-SL SM-SH10/SM-SH12

been using these on both my road race bike and my commuter. They work great but its also the only clip ins Ive ever used.

My shipment arrived on time and the package was in good condition. Having owned a previous pair I really like these cleats. They included all the hardware and are adjustable to different positions. My last pair were chewed up by walking on different terrains due to closed roads. With that said, these are not a low profile cleat so walking on them isnt easy, recommended or comfortable. I do like the option to purchase cleat covers. I have not purchased or used the cleat covers as I never prepare to walk a lot when out on a ride. I do not have anything negative to say but a recommendation, I think they should offer detailed instructions on recommended positions. This will help new cyclist to purchase these on the fly rather than going into a cycle shop.

Fits my SPD-SL Shimano road bike shoes. Package came with all of the necessary hardware to secure the cleats to the shoes.

As much as I love supporting my LBS, these are usually 40% less expensive on Amazon. They are standard Shimano SPD-SL cleats with a little bit of float.

Buy the real thing. A ruined ride and the waste of the $14 for the knock off is heartbreaking... Dont make the wrong choice. Learn from my mistake. These cost me an extra $14 because I bought the junk knock offs and 1 cleat only lasted 30 miles. I should have bought them in the first place. Im so cheap. I am feeling down about myself for this. I just hope i can save others from feeling the way i feel right now. Anyway.... Yellow is the way to go, my knees are soo much better. I bought a pair of shimano super expensive shoes second hand with red cleats and my knees hurt, so i read to try yellow. I did, so much better.
