> 3 dayThey mount easily and if you marked your shoe bottom, they go right where theyre supposed to. If you have perfect legs or perfect form, order the red ones for a FIXED/NO FLOAT position. Get Cleat Covers for walking around at rest stops, and these might last a season of 1000+ miles of clipping in and out while riding in moderate - heavy traffic.

> 3 dayugh I hate having to replace these so often but I suppose it beats buying new shoes.

> 3 dayShimano SPD SL cleats are made in Japan. These cleats came in a generic plastic sleeve with the Shimano cardboard taped to it. These are not authentic. They were made in China. You can see the tape someone put out together. Do not buy from seller Last Samurai.

> 3 dayI have used this for a little less than 2 months and the back piece on one of the cleats has already chipped off. I use this only inside on the trainer, so that was pretty disappointing considering I have not been very rough on them.

> 3 dayObviously dont throw away cleats which still have some life in them, but if the contact points are noticeably wearing away, replace them.

> 3 dayI purchased these to have an extra set of cleats on hand. They are Shimano cleats.

> 3 dayIts unclear to me based on other reviewers comments whether these are in fact genuine Shimano products despite being marked as such. They certainly dont appear to be based on durability. Mine lasted 3-4 rides.

> 3 dayI purchased for the price, however, these cleats only lasted about 5 or 6 rides. Durability for road cycling is deplorable.
