> 3 dayI first bought knock-off cleats to save money and regretted. I came back and bought this original Shimano cleats and worked very well, no problem after 20+ indoor rides The only downside is it’s pricey

> 3 dayThis are labeled Shimano and have proved to be quality cleats. I have been using them for at least a month without any issues. They are holding up fine after riding with them about 300 miles total.

> 3 dayWhile the rubber may wear, the clear edge (the ridge toward the rear of the cleat) did not wear even after 10,000 miles

Greater than one weekQuickest way to change your cleats and have them available when you want and need them. I always keep a spare.

Greater than one weekI used two bolt mountain cleats for years. Decided to switch to these three bolt cleats because of hot spots which also meant buying new shoes and pedals. Expensive! Overall, I’m glad I made the switch because the 3 bolt system is much more comfortable when riding. However, there are trade-offs. The 2 bolt cleats are really forgiving of mud and ice; the 3 bolt cleats are not. The 2 bolt cleats are pretty easy to walk in; the 3 bolt cleats are awful to walk in. You definitely need the cleat covers because 1) they make it possible to walk, and 2) they slow down the wear…and wear they will. I went through 2 sets of these in 3 months before I found the covers! These are plastic while the 2 bolt system is metal. So, on the bike these are nearly perfect, but walking, weather, and wear may drive you nuts.
