Very good for working/being around other people. You can be listening to something but still hear whats going on when people come up and talk to you. Also very good for being out running/walking/cycling and still know a vehicle is coming up behind you. However, the loud noises of buses for example will drown out what youre listening to completely.

Good product for noise free Envoirment

I have ADHD and so I can easily get over stimulated so I was concerned about being able to hear what was going on around me as well as the music or podcast. I know thats the whole purpose of these headphones. Im a mom and so I often listen to audiobooks or podcasts while I am cooking or cleaning but then my husband or kids try to talk to me and I cant hear them and then I have to take the headphone our of my ear. I do also run on a county road at times and need to be a little more aware of my surroundings. I was also worried about the sound quality and what others stated about it vibrating at hugh volume. Sound quality is legit! At high volume I honestly cant hear that way and still have to pause BUT I am aware someone is speaking to me and a quick push of a button I can hear whomever is speaking to me without taking out the plug. It did vibrate some at first with high volume but if it still does, I dont notice it or Ive gotten used to it. Over all I love these and use them every single day.
