Sigma 150-600mm 5-6.3 Contemporary DG OS HSM Lens for Canon

Actually, I found the product better than my expectations. Firstly, the auto focus is pretty fast with my canon 80d body. The image stabilization works good on lower focal length side(uptp 400mm) and from 400-600mm, it is tough to maintain constant focussing by holding with hands due to its weight. This negativity can be compensated by using a monopod or tripod but again, while shooting wildlife, sometimes tripods or monopods do not work well especially when the subject is a fast moving one. The built quality is good. The accesories provided are pretty nice. Afterall, it is a value for money product for those who hesitates to buy a tamron g2 lens or canon100-400L lens for their comparatively higher price.

Très bonne qualité dimage. Je ne regrette pas de ne pas avoir pris la gamme en dessous. Peut être une seule critique il est un peu lourd mais sinon cest top !

Mixed results for my D7200, a few focus issues and some shots the AF totally misfired. This lens is brilliant if you get a good copy that communicates well with your camera body, but as always a 3rd party lens is a gamble.

The Sony A6300 + Sigma MC-11 (Canon mount) + TC-1401 + Sigma 150-600 Contemporary (Canon mount) combination rocks. Sigma says the TC-1401 does not work with the MC-11, but my testing shows otherwise:

Moving up from the Nikon 70-300mm this lens is twice as long and almost twice as sharp. This lens is heavy by comparison, but so worth it for the great shots. Much better performance when aiming at a bright light source like the sun. Solid build quality. Could use a larger tripod foot, but since it is removable there should be replacements available soon.

Deliberated over this buy for ages. Read that the Sport was much heavier and specifically front heavy.

Calidad de imagen un poco suave en apertura máxima, pero mejora conforme llegas a 6-6.3, mientras que en f/8 es impresionante. En cuanto a la velocidad de enfoque, no le pide nada a mis objetivos nikon. Con respecto a los casi 2 Kg de peso, llega a cansar después de unas horas caminando, nada del otro mundo. Lo he probado para fotografía de aves y he obtenido muy buenos resultados. Estoy muy feliz con la compra, totalmente recomendado
