Greater than one weekEdit: After some time I have to change my opinion of this drive. It doesnt support TRIM over USB, and write performance absolutely tanks when copying a large amount of large files (what you would use a 1TB external drive for). Confirmed this is unique to this unit as my Samsung External both supports TRIM and has much better write speed. Found no workarounds to these issues so Ive stopped using this drive. What a shame. It arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. Minimal instructions, just a manual. Came pre-formatted in FAT32, which means you cant have files over 4GB so I will have to format it to ex-FAT or NTFS. Nice heft to it, weighty and glad to hear its military shock/drop test certified, as Im using it as an external and backup drive.

> 3 dayIm completely new to external storage for gaming devices, but came across an article regarding improving gaming speed. Ive used them on PC before, so I gave it a shot. Couldnt be more satisfied with how easy and effective it is. I rarely review, however my hope is that someone new to the product will be able to ease their possible skepticism and purchase with confidence. My system is a PS4 slim, but Ive heard its just as easy to set up and use on others as well.

> 3 dayWhile it does what its supposed to and I havent had any complaints about it so far it doesnt feel as durable as I would like feels a little cheap and while it says 1 TB thats actually 953 GB if thats a problem for you

> 3 dayI like the ease of use and that its easily carried anywhere.. However I have a big problem with this drive as far as transferring large files to the drive.. It will start out at well at over 300 MBs and then after a very brief period of time drop dramatically to a snails pace of 2MBs and stay there for several minutes before resuming its higher rates.. This can be very annoying at times.. wish it was more stable in that department but thus far it been solid. I can only give it 3 stars due to the unreliable transfer rates...

> 3 dayThis thing is solid. I reformatted it before use for my Mac and the transfer speeds are great. I’ve no complaints so far.

> 3 dayCopying from my laptop USB-C to SSD USB-C connector I seem to be averaging about 30 Mbps... actually slower than using regular portable HDD and USB connections. Very disappointed.

Greater than one weekIf I’m not mistaken product says that it is PS5 compatible. With that being said, it should be able to handle PS5 games being downloaded on it but it cannot because it will not transfer data fast enough. This is an unfortunate event but it is a good SSD drive over all.

> 3 dayGood R/W speed with USB 3! only thing is it was bigger than expected and the USB C port seems a little weak. But so far its doing fine, will have to see how it stands the test of time and use!
