Greater than one weekIm completely new to external storage for gaming devices, but came across an article regarding improving gaming speed. Ive used them on PC before, so I gave it a shot. Couldnt be more satisfied with how easy and effective it is. I rarely review, however my hope is that someone new to the product will be able to ease their possible skepticism and purchase with confidence. My system is a PS4 slim, but Ive heard its just as easy to set up and use on others as well.

> 3 dayThis disk is not as advertised Read and Write speeds decreased as the disk was used Disk eventually failed. Not to mention there was a sketchy exe when it was initially plugged in Dont bother buying storage from random companies on amazon the risk of malware or the disk failing is way too high. better to go with something from a reputable company

Greater than one weekI was very satisfied with the ruggedness of the case, the fact it is USB 3.1 and is a TB of storage I can use for my games. I would recommend this for anyone with an Xbox or PC as a quick, reliable storage, whether for games or all of your soon-to-be youtube videos.

> 3 dayThe SSD is faster than my pc hard drive, But not by much. It seems kind of flimsy too when holding it too

> 3 daySteer clear of this bargain. After formatting it for my Mac, which failed the first attempt, I ran a Disk Sped Test. The read results are OK, but this disk wont consistently write even 10MB/s despite the claimed speeds of 50x that number! On repeated tests the drive gets progressively slower, down to under 2 MB/s. It is completely useless for any photo or video editing, or even a simple backup of my hard drive. I should have spent the extra $30 to get the 1TB drive from Samsung or SanDisk.

> 3 dayI purchased this to get more storage for a Xbox One S. This was not a bad price for 1 TB and I liked the USB thumb drive form factor. The speed is really great, Ive not noticed any slow down and in most cases there is a speed up when loading games compared to the internal drive. The drive doesnt appear to get more warm than expected while gaming in 1 hour or more sessions. The Xbox One S doesnt seem to use the higher speeds available to this drive, but its certainly acceptable and could always be used on a newer PC to get the higher speeds. This was very much worth the price paid and would probably get another if needed in the future.

> 3 dayRead speeds are good (~500MB/sec) Write speeds are slower than USB stick (~40MB/sec), after a while. Drive has a DRAM-less SLC-cache, which is fast for the first minute or so (~50GB) then it slows down to crawl.
