> 3 dayI dont know whose fault it is, but the product description for the 1TB USB stick is incorrect, and the error is significant: says USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10GB spec), but the package is clearly labeled USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5GB spec). Now of course the USB labeling was invented by some gnome with a bad sense of humor, but if youre going to use the labels, you have to get it right. (To be fair, the upto 600MB/s is a clue that should have raised my suspicions, but unfortunately I wasnt really paying attention to that.) This might still be a reasonable product for the price, but not what Im looking for. Caveat emptor.

> 3 dayThis disk is not as advertised Read and Write speeds decreased as the disk was used Disk eventually failed. Not to mention there was a sketchy exe when it was initially plugged in Dont bother buying storage from random companies on amazon the risk of malware or the disk failing is way too high. better to go with something from a reputable company

> 3 dayI was badly disappointed my this device. It plain does not work. On two different computers. Not sure why. It might be the device wont work when connected using a USB extension cable. My memory card readers and jump drives work just fine, so Im not sure whats wrong.

> 3 dayThis is the best storage SSD drive I’ve ever had. I use about 4 of these per year. It’s everything they say and even that may be understated. I’m going to buy more soon. Just wish they had these in 2-4 terabytes

> 3 dayI travelled offshore by helicopter for the last 8 years. I have had portable external hard drives get dropped by the people inspecting out luggage on several occasions. Twice I arrived offshore for a long rotation with a hard drive full of games and movies that was now broken. Keep your old mechanical hard drive at home by your main PC or by the television. I bought 2 different SSD external drives a little 256gig drive and this 1TB drive... its fast, durable and gets bumped around a lot. I just slip it in the side pocket of my laptop case and go. Because it has no moving parts unless you smash it open or somehow fry the electronics your data should stay safe. I have about 100 movies and 20 games from my steam library on this drive and everything runs perfectly!

> 3 dayEdit: After some time I have to change my opinion of this drive. It doesnt support TRIM over USB, and write performance absolutely tanks when copying a large amount of large files (what you would use a 1TB external drive for). Confirmed this is unique to this unit as my Samsung External both supports TRIM and has much better write speed. Found no workarounds to these issues so Ive stopped using this drive. What a shame. It arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. Minimal instructions, just a manual. Came pre-formatted in FAT32, which means you cant have files over 4GB so I will have to format it to ex-FAT or NTFS. Nice heft to it, weighty and glad to hear its military shock/drop test certified, as Im using it as an external and backup drive.
