> 3 dayGood R/W speed with USB 3! only thing is it was bigger than expected and the USB C port seems a little weak. But so far its doing fine, will have to see how it stands the test of time and use!

> 3 dayI use this for gaming because my laptop has limited drive space. It works great and my games run fast when playing them off this drive. I am so impressed that I will probably get the 2TB version eventually, and am hoping they come out with 3TB and maybe even 4TB models later on, as games these days keep expanding and eating up a lot of space. This drive is also very portable and rugged too.

> 3 dayWhile I havent tested the durability myself, the metal enclosure seems rugged and that makes this drive perfect to throw in your bag and not worry about it being damaged. It even comes with two cables, a USB-C to USB-C, for newer laptops with USB-C ports, and a USB-C to USB-A port for the most any other devices that you would want a external SSD for. It is also SO FAST! I can transfer huge files in just a few minutes. It even seems fast enough taht you could play games or run programs off of it. This is a perfect fast and durable 1TB drive at a much lower price than its competitors and is working perfectly for me and all of my needs.

> 3 dayBasic SSD for backup. Best value I could find to get a TB on the cheap. The metal enclosure seems like it will stand up long term. Paired with a 3.X USB port this thing offers a very capable backup as well as a daily drive.

> 3 dayIve only had this 1 TB model for a week or so. I copied several folders ranging in size from 210 GB to 2 Gb to the SSD. Smaller copies were lightning fast as expected. Larger copies (200 Gb) started fast, first 5 GB in about 5 seconds showing estimated copy time of 10 minutes, but estimated copy time quickly climbed up to 2 hours as copy speed fell off to observed 0.01 GB/sec or slower. (Im working with a MacBook Pro, 2.9 GHz 6-core i9 processor, 32 GB ram, 2 TB SSD.) Final copy time for 200 GB was 1:40 hours. I repeated this test with similar results. Next I copied the same 200 GB folder to a 4 TB Seagate portable HDD - copy time was 21 minutes. (FWIW, the HDD copy required a USB-C to USB-A adapter, the SSD copy was direct connected using the 12 cable supplied with the SSD.) Im afraid this SSD will be returned.
