I wanted this product for my rear door to replace the current sensor. Have not installed it yet

In August, I replaced my Ring security system with SimpliSafe on the recommendation of a friend. I installed the system to protect my daughter and my wife when I am not at home. Since then, the system has been nothing but an abject disappointment. An example: It has gone offline 5 times in the last 6 weeks --- each time, requiring a phone call to their tech services number to get the system back online. I have since asked for a refund of my purchases. Their answer: We dont provide refunds, but you can keep calling tech services! #sheesh I dont feel like my family is safe at all, given that my system goes down pretty much once a week. I also dont feel like their system is simple at all, given that even after phone call after phone call to tech services, they cant resolve the issue. So, be warned: SimpliSafe is neither Simple or Safe --- and they wont provide you a refund, even after their products fail time and time again over the course of several months.

Easy to install

Ive had systems from ADT and local vendors in the past. Their entry sensors were just little magnets embedded in the door & frame. Invisible. These are quite large by comparison, not attractive, and dont work with our doors that have uneven (not flat) moulding around them. I really wish the company had other options more like the ones we had before. Considering returning the system or using it without the entry sensors.

Great product and services

Excellent overall alarm system. I have motion sensors, water sensors, entry sensors, smoke detectors, cameras,Glass break sensors and door locks. All of it was very easy to install and affordable. One of the best overall alarm systems that money can buy and be centrally monitored. I have had the system installed for about five years now and have had no issues with it. I did upgrade to the GEN two system. I even have an entry sensor in my mailbox which sends me an informational only’s alert when my mail is here.

Easy to use

Tried different ways to mount on our roll-up garage door but nothing I tried worked. Found ETSY adapter and it works wonderful. I always buy from Amazon because i can send it back it something does not work out as planned..
