Everyone should have one of these, especially if you sew. The standard 60 inch tapes are often not long enough and you have to measure in sections. If you are mathematically challenged as I am this tape is a boon. Of course it is made out of what seems to be heavy plastic so will last a long time.

This tape is sturdy, yet flexible. The numbers are large and easy to read. The extra length makes it easier to use than the standard 36 tape.

I am always walking around the house with the measuring tape around my neck, then leaving it somewhere in the house. I ordered Singer tape for their good reputation and really I am not disappointed. It could be a little wider; it is about 1/2 wide, it is 96 inches, making it usable for a variety of projects. It is yellow on both sides; one side is in inches the opposite side is in centimeters. It is made from flexible plastic and that is what I wanted with a secure gold-colored tab on each end.

The first time I had a tape measure was in Junior High School home economics class :) But, I wanted one to keep tabs on my waist and hips. Theres just no way of really knowing your exact dimensions without using a cloth/vinyl tape measure. And its important, especially your waist size which I guess the specialist feel is a sign of having health issues if your mid section is over a certain measurement. Im glad I purchased it, and Im sure Ill get other uses out of it too.

Exactly what I needed. It is hard to find a tape measure longer than 60 inches in the stores where I live. The tape is flexible and soft without being flimsy. The numbers and markings are bold and easy to read. One side is inches and the other side is centimeters. The only drawback is when you roll it up. I had to put a rubber band around the center.

I use this for a lot of measurements of odd shapes that metal rulers and tapes just cant handle. Be sure to buy one longer than you ever think youll need!

Came with a cut almost all the way through

This is a perfect tape to measure the length of fish. I go to Ontario, Canada every summer to fish for walleye and northern pike. Most lakes there have limits on the size of fish you may keep. This tape is handy to measure the length of the fish and return them to the lake if they are under or over the limit. It has large, clear numbers and I can wipe it off easily.

I make dog leashes that are 6 feet. I got this because of the longer length. It is what you would expect from a tape measure. No slivers, no ends popping off. The only flaw is they dont show the feet marking so I just used a sharpie to create them just for ease. I am really glad to have this.
