> 24 hourLOVE this. It’s a life changer! Installed in my old, ridiculously slow Mac Mini 2014, and it is crazy fast now. Should have done it years ago. SSD for the win!

> 24 hourYou will need to be on High Sierra or later to have native NVME support. I havnt had luck with samsung nvmes but I used a WD Black or Adata ones works with this adapter.

> 24 hourThe adapter works great. The only problem is the screws that come with it dont work well. I ended up just using the adhesive. The screws need to be longer and a spacer should be added for the screw that attaches the card (adapter) to the internal component (Mac Mini 2014) for people that dont want to use the adhesive.

> 24 hourLike the header says, wow what a difference. I had 75-85 on the blacklabs program and when I switched it over to this part and an old achi 256gb ssd equals 750 throughput. Why doesn’t everybody change this out on their old 2014 Mac mini. This went from a dead dog to a computer that is ready for another couple of years. Sure it’s only been an hour but what a difference.

> 24 hourExactly as described. Worked for my late 2014 Mac mini. Installation was a breeze. I used western digital black series wds100t2x0c model and had no issues with the latest Mac OS Catalina.

> 24 hourIt was really easy to install. The kit comes with 2 Phillip screws and a screwdriver for them (no T6) to secure the adapter to the Mac mini and to secure the SSD to the adapter, respectively. The installation was really easy and fast. I used a T6 security torx screwdriver to open the Mac mini, remove the adhesive strip from the adapter, set the adapter into position, press down the adapters conector against the available SATA port (readily visible once you remove the Mac mini bottom lid) and installed the SSD (Crucial P1 500GB). That simple! I booted into macOS High Sierra (does not work with Sierra or prior versions of macOS) and the SSD was immediately recognized and requested to format. When I run the speed test with Blackmagic disk speed test software I get 700 MB/s write and nearly 800 MB/s read. Ive even got to configure it as a fusion drive using the Mac minis factory 1TB HDD! It made my Mac mini late 2014 usable, because it was painfully slow.
