> 3 dayThis replaced a Crucial P1 that had terrible overheating in my use cases. I do full Android builds which writes many dozens of gigabytes of data at once so I need a drive that can handle operating in a chassis that lacks airflow. This does this, never gets close to a thermal throttle. Just a better drive all around.

Greater than one weekIts definitely worth spend the extra couple of dollars for this drive over the less expensive options. It truly is faster. I replaced my drive a couple of weeks ago with a drive (Im confident youre considering buying as you read this) that was about 20% less expensive. I just replaced my wifes drive with this one (in the exact same sister laptop as mine) and when we do a side-by-side test, my wifes computer is clearly out preforming mine. Trust me, if you buy this drive you will be glad you did.,

> 3 dayThe testing results showed everything. Normally, I chose Samsung or WD. This was the first time to try a 500 GB Hynix P31, but it suprised me. Even though reality did not show noticeable difference in daily computing, Ill buy Hynix again.

> 3 dayIt was a nice upgrade from my 256Gb ssd for my laptop. Data retrieval is much faster than my old ssd, now I dont have to worry about lack of space for a bit.

> 3 dayThe drive works amazingly, but it is nearly impossible to get the driver and software because their website is almost impossible to access. And when you finally manage to access the website, you have to trick it to access the downloads, or it will just crash giving a 404 error. Once you manage to get to the downloads part of the website and start downloading the software, it downloads at 30KBPS, and stops downloading after a couple of minutes. I tried at different networks, different computers. There are many people at Reddit who has the same issue with their buggy and slow website. So... The drive is great, but support is bad, no drivers, no software... What a bummer.
